This is a very useful hack for someone with no knowledge of what temperature is best suited to which drink. I have always made my green tea with boiling water, and I never knew thats worst temperature for brewing green tea. Great thing about this kettle, they have a pre-set menu, for example for green tea it bouls upto 80degrees, for white tea lower and highest for black tea/coffee. I feel for me this has been useful. Also, if the water was warmed a few minutes ago, and the temp is 80, the kettle is smart enough to detect and not overheat it again. Also you can set it up to auto-heat every hour, so you always have hot water at your disposal. Yes, on a daily maybe we forget to use all the features, but its useful to have nonetheless, better than having a boring kettle.

This was a given as a gift, my daughter in law loved it. It makes a great gift for tea lovers.

Great looks, Very convenient, But a little heavy. But the weight does not matter too much.

I just live the way I can program my water reminder and also how it stays warm and ready to use for up to 1 hour. It has 7 different temperatures according to your news starting from black tea 100degres C to delicate tea at 71c. It also set the room temperature and time. I just wish it had 107C for my matcha tea but 100C can do as well 💗

Product received was not new. The quality of the product is not good as well. Be careful before buying.

This is well made, easy to set up and performance is excellent.It is a good looking unit with an easy to read control base.

Esta increíble, calienta en minutos, el único problema es que la temperatura máxima no llega se queda calentando en 199°F y nunca sube a los 212°F por ello para este nivel de temperatura no funciona el apagado automático y si se olvida se hierve el agua y se va consumiendo

I have had three kettles of the previous version of this Hamilton Beach kettle. I liked them because you could program to heat at certain time in the morning, they were larger than many kettles at 1.7 liters, and inexpensive. Unfortunately they were a pain to program, cheap looking, and lasted only about 12-18 months. This new version, while more expensive, solves many of the previous version’s drawbacks. It still is programmable, and easier to set time, it actually seems quieter while heating, and is good size. I don’t know if it will last, but it has five year warranty. Of all the kettles on Amazon, this is the only one I could find with all these features— plus it looks better than old version. Yes, it beeps when you push buttons, but I can deal with that in exchange for the features. It also keeps warm for up to an hour.

The kettle and its brand should be good, but the item and its package were damaged when received and I couldn't file a complaint earlier due to some technical issue in amazon as the item is shown as "expected to be delivered"
