I wanted a large, 1.25-inch and long ceramic barrel for my long hair, this fits the bill. I love that it is also travel-ready. I like the feel of it, the buttons, and the choice of degree of heat. I wish it would have a tighter grip (just a personal preference). Otherwise, this is a very reasonable curling iron for the price, the look, the function, and the ease of ordering with my Prime account. I do recommend it!

I bought this to take to Egypt. It didn't work very well. Now the plastic tip of the clamp cracked and fell off and is too hot to hold the handle. I tried putting electrical tape on it, but it gets hot and falls off. Basically useless and only 4 years old. My other curling iron lasted for over 20 years and was so old, I couldn't read the manufacturer lable. It worked a good 8 years AFTER I practically burned it up using it in France. PS: It wasn't dual voltage and I didn't use a converter.

I did like the shape and ease of use of this curling iron. I have long hair and the barrel length is ideal. I traveled with it several times, and the dual voltage works as advertised. Durability is a problem, compared with other curling irons I've owned. After about a year of use, a significant amount of the protective finish had chipped off the barrel, and now, at 2 years, the clamp spring snapped, so now I need to shop for a new one.

A week before buying this iron I was at TJ Max and found a Hot Tools brand curling iron, so I got it and I wasn’t impressed at all. I have long hair so I was looking for an extra long barrel and I stumbled across this one and I’ll totally in love with it. Just used for the first time and the curls are gorgeous, long lasting the temperature is spot on, it’s light weight and the 360 swivel helps make the process effortless. Literally the best curling iron I’ve ever used personally! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Ps. This is great for beginners and experts!!
