Great alternative to more expensive mens wading boots
Though I just received these boots, I am very happy with my purchase. I looked at (and tried on) several other brands (Simms, Reddington, Orvis) and these boots represent both value and comfortable design over the other brands. While it remains to be seen how durable they are in the long run I like the idea of purchasing from a smaller / family owned business...they seem to be proud of what they sell. I wear a size 10 shoe and the size 11 boots seems perfect for me, with enough room for heavy socks for colder weather. Looking forward to my first fishing trip in a couple of weeks!!

Great boots, inaccurate sizing
The boots are great so far. They grip great on slick gravel/cobble/boulder streams and have held up well to multiple full days of use.Do not go by the sizing suggestions in the listing. I followed the advice of reviewers. I ordered a size 7 for a woman with size 6 (in womens) feet, and a size 8 for a woman with size 8 (in womens) feet. They fit perfect (very slightly large for the size 6 foot).

Good fit, very stable feel.
Good fit, very stable feel. Good traction. Perfect if you need to hike in/out.The soles came off my Frogg Tog boots in first part if the season. I liked Frogg Togs but they didn't hold up. I wore the Foxelli fishing boots from June all summer and they were very good in all situations. Show very little wear.

Looks okay but does not fit well with Frogg Toggs Sierran Wader
These Wading boots look much nicer and nothing like any traditional wading boot. That's definitely a plus. The sizing is a bit tricky. The sizing table accommodates for the additional neoprene socks but in my case not enough. I am a size 10.5 and bought a size 11 accordingly. They fit but a tad tight for my taste. I am pretty sure a size 12 would be too big. The material is a bit softer than traditional wading boots, so I can only speculate about durability. They also do not have a gravel guard ring. Not a huge issue but not ideal. However, the reason I am returning them is because the material around the shaft is a bit padded and thicker, almost like a sneaker. I have a hard time fitting my Frogg Togg Sierran Waders over them. Way too tight for my taste and probably increases the likelihood of my waders ripping.

Great Wading Boot for the price
I've only made it out wade fishing a few times since buying the boots but they've done great. The boot is very comfortable and really easy to get into. The laces stay tight while hiking and wading. The grip in the water was very good too The boots do hold a lot of water and take a while to dry but the performance out weights theseitrle negatives. I plan to test them out on longer hikes and more water time this fall so will definitely update the review.

Awesome Wading Boot
Just got back from a trip to Alaska. We stayed in the water 4 to 8 hours a day. These boot were very comfortable. We were fishing a rocky bottom and the rocks were slippery. The boots supported my feet very well and had no pain at the end of the day. Was able to transverse the rocks the soles a good rubber. Did slip on the rocks you just had to walk carefully and the boots kept my feet stable. I ordered one size bigger than I normally wear. Was able to wear a liner sock, wool sock and my waders had a neoprene booty. We were fishing for silver salmon ( aka Combat Fishing) These boot were awesome and allowed me to concentrate landing fish!

Worked well so far.
Only have used them once. The boot seemed to have stretched when he got out of water. Not sure why - had tied them tight when he started. Would recommend - did not want to pay a lot for wading boots since he does not fly often.
