Duke's Beef Original Smoked Shorty Sausages, 7g Protein Per Serving, 4 oz.

I've enjoyed a variety of different Duke's meat sticks, usually they are pork. These are firmer, in a good way and have a nice black pepper flavor but not much "heat". As usual, good size sticks - two or three satisfy and the bag isn't so large that they risk spoiling before you finish them all.

Good stuff. Just wish they offered these in the 16oz size.

The texture of the beef sticks are very soft and chewy. I like the beef flavor of the product, but when it was mixed with black pepper, it made me sneeze a little. But, overall, the product was great to eat.

Arrived as described when predicted for shipping. Product was intact but the post office shoved the bag with this and an OTC supplement and a car windshield cleaner in my post box instead of in a larger package box. I don’t believe anything was broken.

When looking for a short list of ingredients, this is one to concider

I love the other Duke's Shorty Sausages I've tried, especially the Hatch Green Chili ones.I was expecting something similar but different in flavor to Hickory Farms beefstick. I ate ONE, although I could have stopped after the first bite. ZERO FLAVOR. I couldn't even taste the salt and pepper the bag touted.The sausages certainly seemed fresh enough, but had a very dry texture compared to other Duke's sausages.And to make matters worse, they're really expensive for what you get. Honestly, I'd like my money back on these!Bottom line: don't waste your money!
