Very good product! Highly recommended
I like how it similar to the one I got from Hawaii!

This is a good one
This musubi mold is really good. The plastic is non stick. The part you press down with has the little bumps just like a good rice paddle. The rice just doesn’t stick to it. Also the mold fits the Spam pieces better than the clear plastic mold I bought somewhere else. The mold is also tapered so when you’re finished pressing your musubi, it pops right out the bottom. It’s a great musubi maker!

It's da kine
Bought this one and the substantially more expensive one and cut out a can and tried all three to make Spam musubi. This one works, by far, the best. Hint: make sure that you wet the mold with water and shake it off before putting it down on the nori. And make sure to wet the top part before pressing everything down to make it "COMPACT" (see, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2X0qNto_9xo). Then, you slide the mold up, while holding the top part down and then release the top part. You can use it for other things beside making Spam musubi, as it allows you to mold any kind of cooked grain that reasonably sticks together, e.g. quinoa or barley. It makes a nice presentation on a plate to have a crisply formed rectangle of grain.

Silly but effective
It’s kinda a silly specialized kitchen toy. I’ve molded rice by hand and used a cut off spam can and thought, “Hey, this is good enough”. However, with a dedicated musubi press you can really take your spam skills to the next level! The rice has a different texture and stays together better.

Great kitchen tool
I bought about a month ago, and have used it twice now. It is very thick and durable feeling. Very nice handle design to press the rice with. I keep the pieces in a bowl of water in between assembly of each Musubi, and it stays clean and is easy to clean after use. Overall happy with this purchase.
