We use the Cajun injector Creole Butter to baste our turkeys before deep frying them. It works well for domestic turkeys and even better for wild turkeys. It gives it that extra moisture that a wild turkey needs and the flavor is awesome.

I have always LOVED this marinade and though the label has changed, the recipe has not. Still delicious!!! Makes for the best tasting chicken ever! So if you're looking for a fat-free way to spice up a boring chicken breast, pick this stuff up! Just make sure you remove the clear plastic tube that protects the needle point before use...lol!

I purchased the two-pack on November 1, 2018 for my Thanksgiving turkey and my Christmas turkey. I have used this product for many years and have sworn by it. When I opened the jar I noticed a strong vinegar smell. Looking at the ingredient list I saw that the third ingredient is vinegar. I hesitated, but thought it was good to use. Wrong! My beautiful turkey tasted like it had marinated in vinegar. So disappointing. I think the second jar will be thrown out and I will use something else for Christmas.

We have used the Creole Butter with a whole chicken and a turkey breast. It is very easy to use and the results were perfect. It will always be a part of our kitchen resources.
