Best I have found
These are the best marking pencils I have found. Others seem too 'hard' to make the desired lines without pressing hard and stretching to fabric. These are 'softer' and mark easily and wash out the same. The only down side is they a wear down fast and you will need many to mark an entire quilt if you are using darker fabrics.

Didnt stay on well...
I gave this only 4 stars because it comes off too easy. I bought it to use with my quilt stencils and it didnt stay on my fabric very long. I had to keep reapplying it. If your going to use it for a smaller project I'm sure it would be great.

Great for curtains 👍
Great pencil for curtains but needs to be sharpened frequently

Easily Removed
This writes well on most fabric but not all. Bits of the “lead” or core of the pencil do fall out after sharpening quite often. However it comes off very effortlessly with a bit of water, which is most important for me, so overall I would buy it again

works great
I sketched an embroidery pattern. It didn't rub off, it was fine enough to create detail, and a little water erased any mistakes.

I Bought it for my Nails
I am not a seamstress. I bought this pencil to clean under my nails, but it is too soft and it breaks. I have another pencil from about 20 years ago (I still have a very small piece of it) and it was hard and it cleaned very well under my nails, but this one breaks.

Did the job
These are ok, very soft, but they do rub off easily which is the whole point when marking fabric. I found that I ended up using almost one pencil per project when making scrubs for the local hospital. It’s gets expensive especially when your not purchasing them in bulk - I found they broke easily and were awkward to sharpen without the inner snapping

Takes forever to arrive
It's a pencil and an expensive one at that, says Prime next day delivery, but took 4 days to arrive.

Kept breaking
Worked well for purpose intended, although doesn't allow for fine or delicate marks, but I used almost the entire pencil for one project as it kept breaking every time I sharpened it.

Easy to use.
Shows up well on dark fabric and easy to use!

Good enough
Easy to mark with and to remove, but it fades very quickly and easily so not ideal for longer jobs
