We had a 60L and upgraded to a 90L just because our son uses it for such long trips he needed more gear.There are so many pockets and useful storage spaces. Very adjustable! The bottom has a separate compartment that opens so that you can have access to some things from the bottom meaning you don't have to dump the whole pack to get to everything. The quality of the fabric is great. After a full year of use by a teenager our 60L is still in perfect condition. The 90L the only thing that could be improved is that for some reason with the 90L they made the very top part lean forward so if it's not in exactly the right spot, it can make you crane your neck forward. Wasn't true with the 60L.

A small bag if you want something compact. It not very roomy with the still hard back limiting on the amount you can jam inside. The stiffness also make it a little harder to shove underneath the seat on a plane vs a soft back.The materials feel sturdy but this makes the weight to size ratio a bit on the heavy side. I do like the hip strap as that was the main reason I got this pack. I carry a camera clip on the shoulder straps and this pack works well with minimum jiggle.

I have the 50 version of this pack and its been my daypack for a couple of years, the comfort and durability led me to buying three of the 30L for my grand daughters who like to hike with me. We just did our first overnighter and the packs performed great. I would definitely recommend this pack based on the quality ,comfort and cost. There are better packs out there, however, I am extremely happy with High Sierra pathway
