This is a great candle, not only it has a great lavender smell. The smell is not too strong to give you a headache. You can definitely leave it in room, or bathroom just for it's smell.Personally, I used this as a massage oil when you burn it you can use it as a massage oil. Soy candles doesn't get super hot it also takes a long time for it solidify once burned so depending on your skin you can use as a massage oil.I didn't see any sign that says do not use on the skin and didn't have any reaction to it either. So I guess it's safe to use as a massage candle even though it does not specifically mention that in the candle.Please note, I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. These candles are amazing and smell really good but you need to remember to let the candle cool before you put the lid back on. I used the lid to smolder out the flame and the lid fused closed.

I’m on the fence between 4 or 5 stars. For what it is, it cost too much. Burns clean. Burns for hours and is in a nice metal can but small. The scent is pleasant enough but not strong or lasting. I’ve had better candles for less money. 4 stars for its size vs price.

Given as a gift

I like to use a lemon scented candle in my kitchen to cover up cooking odors and this candle fits the bill very well. It has a natural lemon scent (not sugary) and is not overpowering at all. This suits my needs well. Since I was ordering online, I didn't want a glass container which might break and this container is very attractive as well as non-breakable.

The first time I lit this candle it had a very strong vanilla smell, which made me feel very happy that I had made a good purchase. Now that I have continued to use this candle in different rooms, I have found that it now just smells like wax. Nothing fancy about this.If you want to have a romantic candle lit room, it does burn very well, but don’t expect to get a romantic smell.

Good price for long lasting great scent. This is my everyday, make my place smell great and welcoming, candle.

Candle smells very nice, however it never heats up enough to melt the wax completely across the top of the tin even after 4 hours like the candle care instructions tell you. Candle will burn unevenly and shorten the life of the candle.
