NOT THE SAME PRODUCT!!! PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL VERSION
This is not the same product!!! I purchased the lacti-cups first in September and LOVED them, for all the reasons the reviews are excellent. I started using them the day baby was born and caught colostrum which we meticulously saved in ice trays (we used Oxo instead of Milkies). I saved a good 2oz of extra milk every day. The cups were comfortable enough to even wear at night while sleeping. They were easy to use. They saved my nipples from being sore. I loved them so much that in November I decided to order a second set.The second set I received was totally different! (see photos). I thought maybe since the design was newer they would be better, but I hate them! There are numerous reasons why the new design is worse: - The back side is silicone instead of plastic, so it doesn't "stick" to skin. This means it's constantly moving out of position whenever I brush/push against it; sometimes while nursing the other side, I'll feel wet and look down and realize it's moved out of place without me realizing it. It's popped out of my nursing tank top multiple times in my sleep spilling milk all over the bed. - The silicone is itchy -- my nipples itch when wearing the new version, but not the original version. So uncomfortable! - It's impossible to pour milk out of the new spout. With the original version, because both the front and back halves are plastic, I don't have to open the cup/separate the shells to pour out the milk. I just pour from the spout and I can even tap the hard plastic against the bottle or milk storage bag to try to get the last drops out. With the new version, the silicone back forms a raised lip that interferes with pouring, so you have to remove the silicone in order to pour milk. But, the shape of the spout is just a simple wedge cut-out from the curve in the plastic, without an additional "formed spout" to pour from. This makes it very difficult to aim when pouring. The width of the cutout is almost as wide as the opening to the milk storage bag, so sometimes when pouring the milk out you "miss" the opening of the bag and lose milk! Sometimes the last drops of milk just stay "caught" inside the edge of the cup and won't come out. The newer plastic feels flimsier and because the cup is now open to the air, you can't tap the cup against your bottle or storage bag to try to get the last drops out. - The original cup has a raised spout that you can feel even in the dark. The newer cup spout is just a cut-out, so you can't feel it in the dark, or see it in dim illumination. With the original cup, I could take it off and put it back on in the dark, half-asleep. With the new cups I often think I have the correct orientation to pick them up only to suddenly have milk everywhere and realize they were actually upside-down. This has happened so many times, and each time I think "ok this time it's definitely right side up" only to realize it's upside down and spilling again. This never happens with the original cups. - The newer cups are bigger. I don't love that they make my chest even bulkier so that my old clothes are even less likely to fit. It also makes them harder to fit into my nursing tank tops and nursing bras, and all the more likely to pop out.I WISH THEY WOULD BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL VERSION. The new version is better than nothing -- I'm still recommending it to friends because saving milk is worth the annoyance of the new cups. But I would pay double the price to get a few extra sets of the original lacti-cup.

MUST HAVE!
UPDATE: They will leak if you don’t have on a right top or sports bra & if you don’t empty before it reaches the middle.I’ve been using these for 3 nights in order to catch leaking versus using a nursing pad and WOW. I’ve stored about 16 ounces so far! Must remove liquid gold before it reaches halfway fill in order to prevent leakage and continue wearing overnight. I simply rinse with hot water after each pour & I’m good to go. I don’t have an issue with them showing through clothing because I don’t plan to use these outside of my home.

Good idea, but not for big breasted women.
I thought this would be a good alternative to the haakaa while breastfeeding my baby so I can still save milk for a stash. No dice. I have been able to save a little milk with it, but I can't seem to get the suction down. Sometimes it'll stay on and catch a bunch of milk, other times I have a drop in there and a wet shirt tucked under my boob. I like that it has an easy to pour spout and it is very easy to clean, but I have kind of stopped using it. I will recommend to my friends with smaller breasts, I think it may work better for them.

Very happy with these!
I tested these out for leaks as soon as I got them because other reviews said theirs leaked. These did NOT leak! They were comfortable to wear around when I was testing them out. The plugs are good and snug so they won’t come off. They aren’t too big or too small (wish they held more than 2 oz each but I’ll trade that feature of other cups for the smaller size of these for convenience). These were purchased May of 2020 and appear to be the most current design. Other reviews and pictures showed a totally different design so I’m assuming that was an older model. These have a hard plastic front with silicone back. The edges of the silicone wrap snug around the front of the hard plastic and did not leak or move when in place.Other reviews said not to boil them and that they cracked when they boiled so I won’t even be trying that. They will got hot water and soap and an air dry. They are too functional to risk breaking!
