I've accumulated many books on witchcraft over the years but this one...OMG. It's filled with so much beauty and knowledge and history and love. The visuals are absolutely stunning. The author clearly put so much time and thought into wording everything so it's easily understood, even to the newest witch. I adore the mentions of rock and roll and the stories about her past with her grandmother that taught her so much. This has become one of my most prized possessions. I love that she has you personalize parts of the book to make it have your essence amongst the pages. Thank you so much to Veronica Varlow for putting together such an educational and stunning book that clearly came from the heart.

Veronica Varlow isn’t your average writer on witchcraft. She writes with wisdom, fun, eccentric and unique energy, and most of all she writes like your best friend. You really feel her heart and soul in these beautifully written and illustrated pages. She gives you a bit of Witchcraft 101 so anyone could pick up this book and understand, but as someone who has been practicing magick for well over 20 years she doesn’t dumb it down. She breezes through the basics and inspires you to get back to what made you fall in love with being a Witch.Since reading Bohemian Magick it hasn’t left my mind. This book lives on my nightstand because it’s so beautiful and I whenever I need to be inspired I pick it up again. I plan on re-reading it and going through the Spectakulus journey and rituals time and time again.Since reading this book I have a whole renewed look on life and have gotten in touch with my Wild. I cried in her passage on “wild” and what that means. I feel like her Grandma Helen is all of our grandmas now. Since reading this book I have picked up my dusty old classic rock, punk, grunge, etc vinyl albums and played them from sun up to down while working on my passion projects. I’ve taken more time for me and Magic. I’ve fallen in love with music again. I’ve flourished in my own little business venture. In my new marriage. And I’ve flourished in myself. Thank you Veronica. It’s very rare to pick up a book that makes you feel seen, loved, heard, and inspired. I recommend this to anyone who needs a little magic in their life.

I've read a few books on magick...good ones, too, but they never quite fit for me. This one feels like a breath of fresh air. It's relatable, easy to follow, and the layout is gorgeous. I always appreciate personal stories and examples when I'm learning things, and this book has plenty.I first became aware of Veronica Varlow many years ago. It was at a Dr. Sketchy's in New York. She wasn't the subject for drawing, but she lit up the room the second she walked in. Part of me wanted to approach her and ask "who ARE you?" but I was too shy. I found her tagged on social media through a mutual friend and started following her on IG. The more I learned about her, the more I liked, and I took one of her online courses. When she broke the news of this book, I almost broke my keyboard in a rush to pre-order...and I'm so delighted with the results. Bonus: an image of a key in the book is almost identical to one I have as a tattoo.This book is friendly, authentic, and, well, magick. If you're new and curious, this is the one for you!

the first thing that comes to my mind while trying to express how i feel about this books is PURE MAGICK!.it’s not a secret that i’ve been a fan of Veronica Varlow for more than a decade, used to read her blog as a bible since this woman has an enchanting way to express herself and captivate her audience.when i heard about this book i knew that i has to have it, but things happen and it was until this week that my beloved gifted it to me, BEST PRESENT EVER! (thank you love!)because you see, if you are into witchcraft or just curious about, if you define yourself as a witch or just a person trying to embrace their own power, this book is a perfect reminder of it. full of magick and secrets, just go through the pages will enchant you, because there’s more than words on it, this book is art in the best way, it’s an expression of Veronica’s soul and lineage.I cried in some parts, specially in Grandma Helen’s Parlour when she welcomes you because you can feel her presence with you, you can feel Veronica’s presence during all the journey that takes you to read this book.See it. Veronica Varlow holt einen in diesem Buch ab, nimmt einen an die Hand und gibt einem dann die Tools um den eigenen Weg selbstbewusst zu beschreiten! Ich hab das Buch in gebundener Ausgabe UND als Hörbuch (Veronica liest die Audio Version so gefühlvoll. Einfach toll) und liebe Beide. Ich wünsche mir mehr solche Bücher! Veronica has been a source of inspiration for me for many years now. I‘ve attended some of her tarot classes and have been a huge fan of her work in general, so when I heard about this book release, I knew that I immediately had to get it.The first thing you will probably notice is how visually stunning this book is. You can see how much thought Veronica has put into every single page and it‘s truly beautiful.And the content is just as beautiful. I‘ve pretty much devoured the book and couldn’t put it down. It was such an inspiring read and really made me feel deeply connected to my own magick. And you can simply feel the love Veronica has poured into this book.You will absolutely love this book and it also makes for a great gift for friends as well!
