Printing 1500mg prominently in the front gives the impression that it is 1500mg per tablet, but this is not the case here. It refers to 3 or even more tablets with this particular product. This is very misleading and bordering in sharp-practice. In all the food supplements that I have seen the strength indicated on the container has always meant per tablet.

Nice high dose of plant sterols at nearly double the dose of my regular brand.I take Innopure sterols normally, which work out 6000mg/£ whereas these are 9000mg/£, so half as good again.Easy to take and with regular use should keep cholesterol in check. Being a plasma donor I can see my cholesterol level in the plasma, and it's been really clear since taking these. Good normally but I think better on this higher dose.I'll be changing to this brand, so highly recommended.

These tablets were very difficult to swallow due to a lack of a coating on them Instructions are to swallow whole and do not chew them! They kept sticking to the back of my throat making me gag and sick. Would not be buying them again

Having been diagnosed with slightly raised cholesterol levels and given advice from my GP to lower my bad cholesterol levels I have been actively looking at ways of reducing my risk of heart attacks and stroke and these supplements look like they'll certainly help in reducing my LDLs.As well as some dietary changes I've added these to my supplement intake to see if these can assist in reducing my overall bad cholesterol levels.You get 60 x tablets in this sealed pack and advice is to take 3 per day so this will last around 20 days at that dosage = 1500mg of plant sterols per day. Or as directed by a medical professional.The jury is out on whether these will help because studies are limited and results aren't guaranteed but for what has been learnt from taking these phytosterols is that they do reduce bad cholesterol levels by competing with the animal fat cholesterol in the gut and hence forth reduce the bad levels.It's recommended to take these after food and always best to follow the advisory label.Always check with your GP beforehand before taking these especially if you're on regular medication.I'm happy to add these to my supplemental intake as raised cholesterol levels are known to cause heart attack and increased risk of strokes and combined with my dietary changes I'm certain I'll see better readings the next time my cholesterol levels are checked.The price reflects the quality and strength of these tablets in my opinion and health comes before money any day of the week so anything that helps to reduce my risk of an early exit from this mortal coil is worth it.I'll update this review in the coming months to see if my cholesterol levels have come down.

This supplement works well. The tablet is on the larger size but I found it easy to swallow with no aftertaste. I use plant sterols regularly but these are usually as a drink. These tablets were great as I could use them when I went away in holiday. Recommended

It's obviously very difficult to be results-based in my review, as sterols are used to help lower cholesterol and you do have to use them for a while to really see results. However, I have been using various plant sterols over the years and so I can compare them with my previous brands.I was disappointed that you have to take three tablets in order to make the required 1500mg dose. I was expecting the tablets to be 1500mg each so this ends up only being just under three weeks' worth of medication.The tablets themselves are fine to take, they tend to be quite large, but that is to be expected with plant sterols. So, the main downside is the fact that you have to take three at a time!
