LuminarcStackable 3 Inch Glass Pinch Bowl, Set of 12

My mother has a wide variety of small plastic dishes that she uses for a variety of reasons and had gotten a set of these initially from Bed, Bath, & Beyond. But, by the time she decided she wanted more, the BB&B's around here had closed down and the only ones available were either higher-priced single dishes or these lower-priced boxed sets. It just happened that this 12-pack was a better deal than just 5 single dishes. One thing of note with this set is to stick with the "new"/unopened sets ... unless, like Mom, you only need a smaller quantity. In my case, I had seen an option for an Amazon Warehouse special. I misread the description ... which is why I didn't open a case about it ... and thought that the original packaging box for the 12-pack was damaged but that the contents were fine. After the fact when I re-read the description, I realized it had said that there was no original packaging and there were some damaged items. Some were significant. Most were subtle. But, all-in-all, only half of them were flawless .... which met the need. The rest just went to the garage because they could still be used there. Basically while each dish was in individual bubble wrap, the original packaging would have held them all together either in 2 stacks of 6, 3 stacks of 4, or 4 stacks of 3. Because they were put in a bigger box, they could shift in transit, which didn't protect them as much. But, had they come in their original packaging, I'm sure they would have all be perfectly fine. I was an honest mistake that I made in misreading the description for the Amazon Warehouse option. But, I just wanted to make people aware that, on this particular product, the loss of the original packaging is likely more significant than it would be with others. Specifically other products that would have then had protective foam inside the boxes. All of that protective foam provides some crumple zone-like protection to the contents. These dishes wouldn't have that level of extra proteciton.

I cook a lot with my son, and these bowls are perfect so that one of us can do prep work and get stuff ready before the cook needs it. (I didn't need all 12, so I gave some away to some very appreciative friends.)I gave 5 stars for sturdiness and durability but they are, after all, made of glass. It is a good dishware to use, but it is also very fragile during shipment. First time came with 7 broken item; one of them was totally cracked. Then the replacement shipment also contain 5 broken item.

These pinch/prep bowls are just what I wanted. Perfect size for setting up small amounts of ingredients or to use for dipping sauces or condiments. They are attractive, sturdy, and stack nicely.

We use them to hold small items that we consistently use (daily supplements). They are highly functional. They are just the right thickness (when dropped,probably won't break). Nice style (pretty). Good quantity (a dozen). Very good purchase.

These cups are great for condiments as well as measured ingredients you will use in your home when baking or meal prepping.

I just love this product, one it's glass cannot go wrong there.I do baking and cooking with my grandkids, and this make portioning out super easy for them.Perfect for them to hold and distribute, and they can see into clearly.When you have them all line out with your ingredient, your kitchen looks professional (ahah).I love that you can stack them.Highly recommend.
