It's okay for an art journal
The paper is not high-quality like Arches, but for a practice art journal, it's okay. I've been getting a lot of use out of it, but to really know how the watercolors interact, use good watercolor paper.

Great sketch pad
I like the fact that there is sketch paper interleaved between the watercolor paper. Allows you to do quick thumbnail sketches right next to your painting surface so it gives you a quick reference to work from. Being 7 x 10 allows you to divide each sheet into 5 x 7 when you want to work on a smaller format. I like the product very much and have repurchased it.It is not Arches quality watercolor paper but it is okay and is not Arches price either.

So versatile!
I love these journals so much and have a stash of them. I love sketching with graphite but am also exploring watercolour so this combination sketchbook fits both of my needs!
