Missing link
Product missing the electrical "link". Whatever it is, without it only one half of the unit works. I was starting the return process, which involved getting the electrician down again, but instead of uninstalling it he thought he'd make a manual link with some of my existing cable (luckily I had enough). Some people have reported missing clamps, I had those, just no essential link. Could've cost me 2x£ cost of uninstalling/installing but electrician was good to me.On a positive note the unit fits, looks and now works perfectly. This is my 3rd one of these (1st one broke, 2nd one we broke the glass) and I'd buy another again next time.Have given 4 stars due to missing essential part.

Better than expected. Have recommended to friends.
In my last house I owned an induction hob for 6 years, so have some experience with induction. That was a high end German brand (not a generic Bosch, a specialist cookware brand) and was a lot more expensive than this one. However, after putting up with a gas hob in the house we moved to, we decided we needed an induction hob. With plans to re-do the kitchen at some point we didn't want an expensive one for now, hence choose this Cookology one.I have to say it is better than expected, and have recommended it to several friends since we purchased it last month. The brackets *are* in the box, but they are well hidden! It can be wired to either 3-phase or single-phase (most likely for UK homes). There is a booklet with a diagram included - essentially you use the 2 bridging wires (included) to convert it to single phase, then wire up your 3 cables (L N E) as normal. A short but chunky cable is included, pre-wired into the hob. If needed then an access panel can be easily undone and this wired disconnected. Any competent electrician should have no problems with this.I hope you found this review helpful.

Superb induction hob at a giveaway price.
Excellent price, quick delivery and works well. We brought this hob to replace a gas hob. You need an electrician to install this hob as it needs a 32amp dedicated supply. The hob works really well with good temperature control. Quick to heat a saucepan of water. The heat seems well distributed over the pan base. I used the hob to fry eggs, it managed to do this without the usual splatter i used to get with the gas hob. all in all we are really pleased with the unit. It’s price would suggest that there was some compromise on its performance compared with expensive jobs, however I did not find any quality issues with its performance. I just hope it proves reliable.Things to watch out for: The hob does not come with securing brackets. fortunately our old hob brackets fitted the new hob, but I think this is a huge oversight by the manufacturer. Also, be aware that this hob comes configured for use on 415v 3 phase supply out of the box. As you need an electrician to install this, this won’t be an issue for them to re configure the hob to 230v single phase supply for domestic use. the links to make this change are supplied. I you are not an electrician and plan to attempt to hook this hob up yourself, you really do need to know what you are doing.

So far so good!
Only had it in a few days but so far it's meeting expectations. Previously had a more well named model in but after accidentally smashing it we wanted a cheaper one. Looks great and is working as it should alsoarrived promptly. Hoping to have no problems but I cannot comment on the quality & customer service at this point.

Very disappointed – product faulty and poor seller response
I bought this cooker hob thinking it would be a simple plug-in and go. Unfortunately, it didn’t work straight out of the box. I contacted the seller to explain the issue, but they kept asking for an installation certificate — which makes no sense, as it’s a basic plug-in device, not hardwired. Despite multiple messages, they refused to accept the return or acknowledge that the product might be faulty.
