Q: Does this add a lot of weight the car And would everything fit in place for a red cat volcano are there any extra holes that need to be drilled

This made it very sturdy, and the holes are predrilled and match up perfectly. I also have the Volcano and it makes a difference going over hard obstacles.

Absolutely, positively, not. 100% no

Q: is this for the epx pro?

I used it on my epx, but I believe it’s the same chassis on both.
