Only filters I’ll buy
Quality filters for sap and syrup filtering. I love that Kaito Ridge provides great products made in North America. I’ve been sugaring and tapping trees for two seasons and go through a lot of filters in various stages of processing. Highly recommend Kaito Ridge products over competitors with goods made outside the country.

Don't skimp on filtering!
Filters,when used as a prefilter in the finishing filter really makes a difference. They rinse well, dry quickly and have a good life expectancy.

Good, but will need additional filtration
This was my first year and so I learned as I went. These filters are good, but you'll need another level of filtration to finish the job. I filtered through a t-shirt going into the pot the first time; then used these for two subsequent filtrations. There will still be either some nitrites or the oil slick. A more experienced maple sugarer told me next time to start with these but use a wool felt before going into my final pot.
