Great for rural customers with satellite or spotty Internet service
The unit works well but you may need a techie friend or family member to help you I stall it! My daughter bought one and used YouTube to gain some help. I have a friend who helped me. We live in a remote area and we’re using satellite internet whitish limited data and very expensive. This is a good alternative for us who live in the rural country setting! You will need a SIM card Feom a phone to activate the router. Shop and find unlimited service for your router. Consider it as another phone line since your SIM card is from a cell phone provider.

Maybe not the best choice.

It is a bit dated
Works well for what it does. Lots of configuration options for those technically inclined. Probably a bit too technical for many.A bit dated as it has no support for 5ghz Wi-Fi nor 5G cellular data. It only supports one SIM card.USB tethering is sporadic, works with some phones and not others. I ended up getting a $19 GL.iNet router to use a second service provider with a USB tethered phone.

Does not work with T-Mobile Data Sim - Appears throttled to 700 Kbps
Currently using the Tmobile 100Gb data plan with the Tmobile Inseego MIFI 2000. Purchased the MOFI 4500 v3 Sim7 so that i could add external antennas to help with a weak signal from a distant tower. I can get the MOFI to connect to the TMobile tower, but the speed appears restricted to 700 Kbps. The IMEI appears compatible per Tmobile website device check, but other info on internet suggests this device will be identified as non-compatible and throttled. Have not been able to find any info regarding settings that will allowed this device to be used.
