It's a nice book, nothing out of the ordinary but it does what it says, some kind of ring binding would be nicer

This is a great book for people who want to start learning about ...
This is a great book for people who want to start learning about astronomy. Many people interested in astronomy, dive in, delve in, and want to find all the most difficult objects, only to be overcome with frustration. Mr. Regas starts out very basic and very clear, not only guiding you through observing, but giving you the sizzle of why the phenomena he's directing you to are fascinating. It's very easy to read and has excellent diagrams. What's particularly good about Regas' book is that he walks you through the basics of learning how to find objects, discover astronomical events that you wouldn't ordinarily notice and become aware of all things happening "up,"... all without having to buy special equipment (binoculars or telescopes, etc.), Nevertheless, this book also helps people who have telescopes, but don't know where to begin.

Great book about the night skies.
I just started reading this book and it is great. Very informative, easy to read and hard to put down. My son is super into space so I'm always looking to learn more so we can feed his passion. There are great details that make it clear what you are looking at plus where and when to find everything. I find myself constantly looking at the sky, with this book I now know what I'm looking at.
