Just what I wanted
This is perfect for me in more than one way when it comes to holding food. I get 2 break periods and I like to put my main meal in the second compartment and my snack or smaller meal in the first. I'm enjoying the fact I can even hold liquids in it like soup (no picture) but I tipped it all the way over to see if it would leak 0 leak from it. The dividers are nice as well allowing you to carry different things without them coming into contact with other parts. I haven't really had a need for a sauce container used it about 3 times tops so far but it works nice and is leak proof as well and from what I've used it for it was just the right amount. I don't really have a downside to this at all everything worked as it was advertised it has been easy to clean and the utensils from what i've been able to tell are of fairly good quality for a plastic. Unfortunately I have not had any need for the venting capabilities of this bento but based of everything else I don't feel like it wouldn't work as advertised. On one side note make sure you press the lids down all the way so you can get a good seal.

My lunch, redesigned
My first ever bento box and after a good week of use I quite love it. While it is essentially a tupperware kind of container, it ends up feeling different somehow. Reading up on the basics of what makes these unique and how you are meant to utilize it to the full potential was interesting, making the whole process more enjoyable. They may seem a bit small, but since that is intentional as away to manage portion control it does not bother me at all, a feature I actually wanted. You can fit more into them once you start playing around with options and read up on tips as well, certainly not limiting your lunches, unless you are someone who wants to eat large meals which this wouldn't suit you at all.The design is simple and clean, leak proof lids with an air vent worked great. The included utensils are great, very sturdy material that feel like they would hold up for most situations. They fit nicely into the design into the top lid, and the securing elastic band is very useless as well. The two included dividers I liked, since you can adjust them to however you need. All the parts cleaned up easily or left behind any odors. The included guide is actually a few short pages with a brief introduction into bento boxes and a few video links for ideas. I was expecting something more in depth, though there are plenty of other books out there to introduce you I would recommend.I look forward to using this daily for work, has an appealing design that for me brought about a new appreciation for preparing my lunches. Being mindful to make appropriate portions, making sure I included variety, to trying to make it all fit nicely. Maybe I'm just too simple, perhaps it will instill the same new excitement for you!

Large Bento Box For Men
Finally, a Bento box large enough for a man's lunch! The problem with most Bento style lunch boxes is inadequate capacity. Most are designed for dainty eaters and those who actually care about limiting their portions. Which is the opposite of this reviewer and most men. It is sad to run out of food when you still want to eat. This Bento box will make such a truly sad event unlikely to happen for most people.I wish a company like Thermos would design and make their own Bento style lunch container. It would be made of premium stainless steel and large enough to keep a hungry construction worker named Moose happy. But until then, this Grub 2 Go will have to do. No, it may not be enough for Moose but it should suffice for most men.The quality of the plastic is sufficient for the intended use. It is thick and do not flex. It will even survive the bottom rack of a dishwasher. The plastic utensils are satisfactory for the price. The bamboo lid adds a pleasant aesthetic to the package. The containers are not leak-proof. I have not come across a Bento lunch container that is fully leak-proof. Do not use for soups and marinara. It will leak. There two ways in which I would improve this product. Of course, the price will increase with these suggested improvements but you do get what you pay for. First, the bag. I would make the bag bigger so it can carry two cans of your favorite beverage. I would use a higher quality, more durable material for the bag. The bag should be insulated. In other words, the bag should be of much better quality, bigger, and insulated. Secondly, the utensils should be stainless steel. Trying to cut meat with a plastic knife is an exercise in futility. Third, increase the thickness of the plastic material used in the containers. I know, that would bring up the purchase price to about $40. Which is more than fair for a Bento lunch container that will last for many years. As it is currently being made, this product will not last more than a couple of years. The plastic utensils will wear out, especially the knife. The elastic band will lose its strength, and bag will rip. I am willing to pay the additional cost in order to get a product which will function better as well as last longer.Highly recommended. You cannot complain for this price. The capacity is large enough for most men.
