GREAT BOOK SERIES!
The "Bunker12" books are a great if you like post-apocalyptic books or movies. This is a series of 4 books and they are very easy to read. I was never a book reader util I retired. Now I have more time to do things I thought I would start reading between projects. I always liked post-apocalyptic movies so I thought I would try a book about it. I bought the first book, "Contain", just to see if it was interesting. I couldn't put it down! I had things to do but I found myself reading more than I had planned on. I was hooked on this book so I ended up getting the other 3 books in the series. These were just as good as the first book. I would highly recommend these "Bunker 12" books.

Good stsrt to this series
Isolating from a deadly virus contracted by touch, thirty or so people are living their lives the last three years in a bunker inside a dam. The 18 year old boy is the narrator. Going to read the second in the series. It is well written .

Great Story / Irritating Main Character
The writing is at a level expected for a YA book. The main character is annoying. He's not very bright, and he comes across more like a fourteen-year-old or younger. And it's not just because of where he's been living because many of the other teens seem more mature than he is.The premise is interesting, and the author delivered on the action.

Solid start from the foundation set by the Former series - 3.5 rounded to four
Reading through The Flense, you get used to people knowing what the hell is happening. They're all familiar with what they're up against, and the reasons why. Bunker 12 is giving you the view from everyone else, wherein one day the world just filled with eerily quiet infected spreading soul death with a touch and berserk rage zombies flensing victims to bloody bones, with the cause being a mystery. Expect a returning character or two from the other series, but otherwise a new cast for the first book. Its a solid entry, with plenty of people fraying at the edges after three years underground, and sadly a chunk of them are behind the idiot ball. Worth your time, especially for the price.

A good read
A good story, original plotline. Characters are believable, minimal typos or grammatical errors. I would recommend. I am OK with not reading the next book, although I would if the price was a little less. My habit is to only read the free first-of-series book, although will purchase if the story is too good to not keep going.

Excellent.
Wow. Anyone that thinks living in an underground shelter might be fun should read this book. None of these characters would agree with that. Saul skipped that first three years of utter boredom for us and went straight to the chain of events that would lead to considerable change for the inhabitants of the bunker. This book is fast paced from start to finish. In addition to Finn’s life suddenly becoming difficult and hazardous, his backstory is downright harrowing.Since this is Saul writing, those things out there are zombies. But I have to say they’re the oddest zombies I’ve seen, in print or on television. Different, new, and interesting, not to mention vicious and speedy. They’re scary critters. I definitely want to read the companion series that explains the zombies and the initial outbreak, if it’s ever published. I’m tapping my toes here. Its title will be The Flense.Seriously, if you’re a fan of dystopian stories or zombies, you should read this. I think I’ve read an overload of dystopian books, because they’re all beginning to be very predictable. So I am very happy to find a new series with fresh ideas. I had a hard time putting the book down, and that doesn’t happen often anymore. It’s fun to read and I think you’ll like it.

A Different Spin on Your Typical Zombie Apocalypse.
It's a great start to a series I am looking forward to devouring (pun intended). It's different from what I expected and not at all bad. An easy read that was well paced, I recommend it to any zombie fans from any media source. I think it will satisfy whether you're coming from a walking dead, resident evil or we're alive fandom... Just to name a few.

Excellent!
So good I couldn’t put it back! A really interesting take on the « zombie genre », not your typical « bash and run ». I loved the fact that there's a mystery to unravel in the story. Reminds me (a little bit) of the excellent Silo series by Hugh Howey. Not that it looks inspired by, just that the general atmosphere is kind of similar. Probably the best book I read this summer, and I read a lot! Like A LOT! 2-4 novels a week... I will definitely follow that promising author. Now, let's read book number 2! ;)

Bloody Marvellous!
I loved the Gameland series and, weirdly, wasn't too keen on reading another series by Mr tanpepper as I felt sure I would be disappointed when it didn't live up to my Gameland expectations. Well, scrap all that as he's only gone and written something better! Fab book, great characters and the typical cliffhanger attend of most chapters. Plenty of secrets the characters are hiding - really made you read another chapter despite it being 2am and working the next day. I like how this book sets the scene and its about the characters, not the stereotypical 'running from the Infected' kind of thing. I know this will come in the later books but appreciated the fact that this first book isn't full of zombies running around killing everyone! Really cannot wait for the next book to be released and will be searching for dates for the others as soon as I finish writing this review! So pleased to have another great series to get stuck into that's full of suspense, twists and enough crumbs about who really knows what. Well done, I didn't think I would ever like another zombie book hero after Jesse but now I can't wait to find out what happens to Finn. You wont be disappointed with this book, only when it finishes lol.

Great Read!
The book starts out, fast enough, and takes you into the lives of survivors, and their existence. The struggles, their lives, and the problems they face. The book was a great read, and I burned though it at record pace, simply because you just can't wait to see what is next. Character development, is great, with a base of characters, that are all defined enough, and a small enough group, that you feel you know them. The only bad thing, that I can say about this book, is WE NEED NUMBER TWO! Great book! You have me hooked!

Great story!!!
A great take on the infectious post-apocalyptic trope. I love how fleshed out the characters were. I really enjoyed the vonstant who done it and what was happening. I'm keeping you guessing till the very end, just to leave you with more questions to answer. Cannot wait to read the rest of the seires!
