This cover fits my Harbor Freight Predator 3500. I was looking for a simple cover that would keep the dust off and lessen the "garage rash". This one works fine.The 3500 fits in my truck bed, just under the tonneau cover. The Buffalo Tools cover has drawstrings at the bottom that secure it, but has not been tested at highway speeds.I also like the fact that it doesn't have any product branding on it that would tell the world "here is a generator". When I use the genny I tend to pull it towards the tailgate. After use it gets pushed back up towards the cab. Let it cool down a little and then back on goes the cover.Overall, if you have a 3500 (or the Northern Tool variant) then this is your cover!Dobber

Upon open the package I found the cover to feel like a durable cover. I went to install it over the Sportsman Gen7000 for which this cover is sized for. I found it to be extremely snug for the Generator with the Mobility handle installed. I struggled to get it pulled on. But was able to bring it as far down as the wheels. The size is not large enough to cover the wheels also. Which is something I think need protected from the elements also. I removed the Generator cover after our first rain since I installed the cover. I discovered that water had beaded on top the Generator. Which is why I gave it only an average weatherproof/weather resistance rating. I still need to contact customer service at Buffalo tool and see what they say. But this cover is supposed to fit this generator. I don’t think they sized this cover to fit over the Mobility package. I will update this review after speaking with Customer Service.

I live off grid and have several backup generators. I also use my generator when camping and this cover is sturdy enough to go down the road in the back of pickup. It has spent an entire Montana winter outside and although it’s showing some wear around the edges it has plenty of life left. I liked mine so much that I promptly bought one for a friend when he bought a camping generator. They are roomy and heavy enough not to flap around or blow off in the wind (need to be secured for travel at highway speeds). They are an excellent value for the price; I would expect this quality to cost more.

I purchased this cover to protect a Hobart mig welder in my garage. (No one seems to sell an inexpensive cover for the welder) Upon measuring, this cover fit my needs rather well. The welder stays in the garage, so I did not rate anything regarding weather. The cover is very sturdy and should work out well.

Heavy quality construction. Multi layer. Description states the Large-universal fit up to 7000w generators. I tried it on three brands ranging from 4000 to 5500 watts (6hp to 11hp) and it would not fit any. I recommend trying the next size XL if you are in the 5000w range with a frame.I gave it the 5 stars based on quality construction and materials, not including the fit discrepancies.

This cover is incredibly durable and heavy duty. I bought the Champion brand cover for my 3100 inverter but my it got shredded on my first trip to South Dakota. The generator was on the front of the trailer behind the propane tanks. I couldn't believe it. This cover is far superior to that one. Its made of a heavy duty material with a waterproof backing on it. I would buy this again but I don't think I will ever need to.

This cover was a little snug going over the 5500 watt generator but does fit. It is made of a heavy gauge material that seems to be very sturdy how well it will bear up to the weather is yet to be seen.The one real drawback is there are no holes to have handles sticking through the cover for moving the generator around without uncovering it.

This is a great durable cover, but it is NOT a “Universal” cover. It is a LARGE cover that does NOT FIT my Sportsman 4000 generator. It’s made for a Sportsman 7000+! Will return for proper cover, but it would be great if I did have a “LARGE” generator. Product specifics need to be updated!!
