Teacher Side Hustle Primer
I heard about the book through Michelle Ferrè's "A Pocketful of Primary" vlog on YouTube. To be honest she was the only one of the ten contributing authors I had heard of. I liked her enough to want to read her story and as a result got the stories of several more educators who have managed to successfully monetize their edu-passions.I didn't read the book to learn how to become one of the new breeds of Edupreneurs. I'm too lazy for that. I read it because I am fascinated by the journey and set of circumstances that takes someone from a normal background to becoming a well known "name" in their industry (I hold the same fascination across professions). Spoiler...the answer is always "hard work" and I would also add in determination and a bit of luck (mostly borne from "hard work"). None of these contributing authors had anything handed to them, which makes them all highly relatable. Each of the stories offers glimpses into their lives from what motivates them to how they balance their business/brand with their personal lives.A lot of the advice is what I would consider common sense but there were practical applications and resources that I thought would be helpful for anyone considering their own "side hustle".I appreciated that nothing was sugar coated throughout the book. Each story contained the hidden truth of a successful side hustle - sacrifices, the sustainability, non-glamorous work, hours involved in creating and editing, etc.If you are thinking about jumping into the world of educational side hustles, or you just simply like inspiring stories from teachers, I would definitely recommend this book.Eve Heaton@atechcoachlife

Inspiring and Informative, MUST READ!
This book arrived today at 3 pm and I couldn't put it down. It is currently 12:37 am and I just finished reading it. The insight, information, and inspiration that these writers have shared within this book is amazing. I would highly recommend anyone whether you are a teacher or not read this book. Most importantly if you are on the fence, read this book. If you feel like something is missing in your career, read this book. I don't personally or professionally know any of the writers mentioned in this book and I stand to gain nothing from my review. All I know is that this book struck a chord with me which left me pausing and reflecting on the direction I want to take. Do not let fear stop you. I'll definitely be rereading this and referring back to the information listed inside. Thank you!

Great Collaboration of Ideas!
I love the format—it was very easy to go back and use different chapters after my first read through!I will now forever use the word “edu-prenuer” when describing these amazing teachers of teachers. This book has great questioning - all in one place for the first time - that directly relates to the growth of your teacher resource business and education (personal/professional) brand. The way it’s formatted, there are amazing tips and reflections throughout each chapter, and you get to learn more about each of these powerhouses! I love that the chapters are focused on helping others understand their process and isn’t wasted on fluff or deviating to random tangents, which I feel a lot of teacher-made books do—grateful to have something positive to focus on this summer!

I really enjoyed this book. I have been following these teachers on social media, and I really enjoyed reading their stories. I found the content informative and inspiring. It was just what I needed to keep me going on my side hustle journey! It's a must read for people who follow the authors and want to learn more about them, or for those who are embarking on their own sidehustle. It's a quick read and perfect for summer inspirational reading.
