The result I was hoping for, yay!
I do not frequently use a curling iron, rare actually, so lesson learned to wear sleeves when using one. My lack of experience resulted in a burn on my shoulder. It blistered, and I did not take note to care for it properly until I felt it be popped/opened later that morning. I knew I was in trouble for a scar since the blister opened. I had experienced a popped burn blister years ago and used Mederma, but that did nothing for it. I researched, found Scar Smart, and took a chance. I tried their Scar Smart sheets too, but I found their gel more practical for where the popped blister was located since I carry bags on my shoulders daily and that was not conducive for the sheets. I waited till the popped burn blister was dry, then I followed the directions every day from May 4th (the first picture) until beginning of August. I also kept the scar covered or under sunscreen when I was outside. I am so happy with the results! I reduced to using the gel once a day, every other day, in August, but I'm going to start back up 2 times a day to see if it can go lighter even more. I highly, highly recommend this product. And to wear sleeves when using a curling iron!

Made a pretty nasty skin wound disappear completely
I'm a pretty avid sawmiller and construction hobbyist, so scars are pretty much the defining feature of my arms and legs. However, a week ago a pointy spruce branch challenged my calf to a duel and won handily, leaving a 2" gash on one of my last unscarred acres of flesh. My friend had been to his dermatologist and was recommended this scar gel, along with the accompanying scar sheets, so I figured I'd bite.Full disclaimer, I long ago lost faith in skin care products when I decided it was all pseudoscience and snake oil. But on the plus side, I can write an honest review. I got these in the mail, cleaned the wound again, and applied the scar gel and the healing sheet. I followed the directions over the course of a week, noticing when I removed the scar sheet that the wound was staying soft and the healing process seemed to be in the express lane. This process was much more comfortable than a dry, cracking scab, wasn't itchy at all, and prevented my tendency to pick away at a scab.8 weeks later I removed the bandage and the scar was gone. Like, totally and utterly traceless. Next review I'll do a before-and-after pic — it's like the cut never happened. I guess it's a bit late to prevent the rest of my scars, but I've ordered three more packs and can at least prevent scars in the future. I can't recommend this stuff enough.

Not for old scarring
No I would not say that this is a medical grade, but it could do the job. I tried it on some old scars and they did not work, I am assuming that this would have to be on something fresh healing to PREVENT or LIMIT scarring. I would probably apply once to two times a day at the most and make sure the area is clean and dry before application. And always always always try it on your skin before you apply to a large area to make sure you aren’t allergic!!

Needs to be massaged in for a few minutes
I cannot remember since I lost the instruction sheet but it's something like three minutes of massaging the gel on the scar. This is not a deal breaker for me, but it might be to others.I used the Scar Smart gel and Scar Smart patches or sheets together. My scar is on my leg, it's four years old. The skin pigment was also damaged. I have hyperpigmentation there. It's a long story, but ultimately I had eczema, I could not go in right away, and I scratched my skin like a rabid wolverine. As a result my skin is dark there and there were scars from my scratching, and then it was so gross they did a biopsy which left a decent sized raised scar in the middle.Honestly, I have so many scars I just didn't give it much thought. But when shorts season rolls around everyone seems to think I have a contagious skin disease. So to stop my mom from asking me what I am dying from everytime I see her I decided to try to fade the scar. You need to clean the scar area. Then you rub the cream into your leg for about three minutes. This is so the gel is really penetrating. Remove any excess and go about your day. Do this twice a day. I also did it after swimming or excessively sweaty workouts. I like the gel, but I find it best to use it with pants, because I have no idea why but my dogs are magnets to lotions and gels and they just want to lick it off. If I put it on wearing shorts or capris or a dress I covered it because of the mom scenario and the dog licking. After three months of mostly consistent use, the raised portion of my scar is gone. The deep scratch wounds are invisible. The size of the hyperpigmentation has definitely shrunk by 3/4 of an inch according to my doctor. He had the foresight to measure it and photograph it over the last four years. I personally think the color is more like a birthmark color rather than the mark of death in pirate movies.I still have a lot of scar gel left and I will continue to use it. Hopefully the birthmark color will fade, I have read studies that silicone gels show improvement in hyperpigmentation.Overall, I would recommend it for anyone who struggles with a scar. Mine is four years old and this has really improved the look of that scar.

Scar cream seems to be working
I’ve been using this cream on a surgical scar for three weeks. It seems to be helping break down the scar tissue causing the scar to lay more flat. The texture is smoother as well. The cream goes on easily and a dries clear without any stickiness.

Scar remained the same
I put these sheets on my surgery scar on my knee. It feels somewhat smoother and softer, so I thought it was going to do something on it, but that was all. Appearance didn’t change any. I will see if anything changes in next few days...

This product really works
I've tried several scar treatments, most much more expensive. Scar Smart is the first treatment that worked. i used it for two weeks before I began to notice improvement, then it was fairly quick. In three weeks the scars from my 2019 surgery were noticeably better.
