I bought this because it was described as adhesive but it is not.

Why does some suppliers - take clients and amazon for a ride and waisting everyone's time and money ? the promised description of this tape - is not 'Adhesive Bird Scare Repellent Flash Tape'. extremely disappointed of this service. tape is shiny but not adhesive. you wasted my time and you are not a reliable Amazon partner! Now I have to start searching again for the relevant tape. Plus for an ordinary tape bird scare ribbon - your ribbon is far too expensive !!!

Was not effective

I'm not sure this is any better than using a sheet of aluminum foil which I've found works, much cheaper and lesstedious to apply...Both look terrible but at least the foil isn't going to permanently get stuck on my windows...I have literally covered every visible spot on many windows trying to deter a male bird thinking he's found his mate in my windows... looking at his reflection and pecking away all day the entire front of my house...This product works, it's just expensive, a tedious process to keep cutting narrow strips and peeling off the backing, placing strips (MANY of them) all over the windows...It works if you use enough if it but I'm very concerned my windows will heat up in summer sunshine and melt that adhesive onto my window, making it impossible to remove. It sticks very well and I tried toremove a strip to see what would happen but it's not sunny today and not hot outside......It's a good idea but the jury is still out whether this is an actually good solution for a seasonal problem....I spent hours cutting and pasting, deterring one bird, from one window at a time...My house looks like a circus with all these strips everywhere...It sticks to glass but not sure what else it will stick to and not sure if the bird is deterred by the pattern of these strips or simply because he can't see his reflection very well anymore.

Pretty flimsy and too thin and lacking quality tape glue resulting in poor adhesion . Did not work to deter the pigeons, who actually found it to be very handy to take home with them.

It has been keeping the woodpeckers away from the house

I have a 12 pound cockapoo. In the past few years there have been various hawks "surveying" our neighborhood. They've perched themselves on my roof, the roof of our backyard shed and on trees in my and my neighbors' yards (plus the roof of my next door neighbor's car!). I bought this product to keep my fur baby safe (plus I'm always outside with her just in case). I've attached 2 strips of this product to all sides of the shed, and wrapped one strip around each of the 4 trees in my backyard and the one tree in my front yard. It's worked great to keep the hawks at bey since I did this in late July of 2020. It's stayed on through rain storms, snow storms and 50 mile per hour winds. I highly recommend this repellent flash tape.

I put three strips on top of the mailbox yesterday to keep birds from crapping on it. When I went to get the mail, it was loose, so I pressed it down again. This morning I went to see if had stuck, and there was bird crap all over the tape and down the back of the mailbox. Certainly not worth the money. If I hadn't already cut strips off, I would send it back.
