Came with little screwdriver and tool to help disconnect connectors to fans. My laptop had fan noise that was coming from a bad bearing in both fans brand new out of the box. Took apart case and only installed the fan while keeping bottom part of case installed. Did not remove the heat sink. This does NOT come with thermal paste. If you take the sink off remember you will need new paste. I worked around the copper heat sink and managed to get the connectors off and installed the new one without too much problem. These fans fixed my problem and have been doing well so far.
