Performs as advertised
She's a winner. I had a huge patch of poison ivy that needed clearing and this tool was fit for purpose. Sharp as a razor. Makes short work of one inch branches. Be sure to oil this blade, as it will rust easily. Handle seemed a little bulky but was actually more confortable. So far, solid as a rock. I expect this tool to last as long as I do, if kept sharp and not abused. If I had a time machine I'd back and tell myself "Buy it, already."

Excellent little Bill hook with one provision.
This is an excellent bill hook, tight on the handle and beautifully tempered. As it comes it is great for bushes up to finger width and perfect for working with bamboo (which is why I bought it,) however the grind is too shallow for larger use. If you want to clear bigger stuff you need to resharpen it more like an axe, other wise the blade will dent or chip.

good quality tool for a budget.
Everything was great, almost as sharp as I like, I am picky but the paint/protective coat is uneven and flaky is my only complaint. Everything else on it is right and tight if a bit too thick and blocky but to be frank I wanted it for that, if you can sand and sharpen a blade, this is a good one on the cheap. I got mine cause its small and fits into the side of my pack for briars, and roots, my other machete is better for long things.

Excellent customer service.
Excellent knife for the money. The sheath I received didn't fit correctly. I contacted the seller and had a new sheath within a few days along with their apology. If you're in the market for such a knife, buy this one. You won't be disappointed.

Made real good but just a little heavy for the size
It’s very heavy duty and real solid piece of blade. Though I don’t have anything bad to say about the craftsmanship, the size to weight ratio is just not compatible with the task that I bout it for.I bought it to clear some overgrown brushes. It is pretty easy to use for someone that works out a lot but my it’d be a different story for my 60 year old ant.Overall it was made good but a little too heavy and the blade is waayyyyy too short

My bologna has a first name! And it's Pancho!
Fresh out the box looks great.Haven't tested it out yet. Only issue was that the top leather clasp was to short. I messaged the company hopefully they send a replacement strap. But otherwise I can't wait to test it out. Very heavy, sturdy and I'm hopeful that this is just the one I was looking for. 👌🏽

This is the first time i used it and it, needless to say i was disappointed would not buy again
I bought this because of the description it sounded like a quality tool and would be useful to clear brush on my trail system. When i received it came in a cheap box but had a nice weight and leather sheath. Be aware it is covered in grease when you first open it. I took a walk on the trail and decided to clear some vines and some small branches intruding onto the path. First swing at some vines was smooth and did the job second swing at a branch in my way didn't cut through (disappointing) second swing i noticed the blade was bent. I know this blade is not expensive i write this review only because of my disappointment in the description vs reality I feel mislead.
