Q: What degree angle should be used to sharpen?

OK its recommended that you use 10 to 15 degree angle when sharpening these knives. I usually put 2 quarters between the back of the blade and the stone that will give you an idea of the correct angle

Q: Is the blade serrated?

no its not. and it has something like a teflon coating, which would come off probably if your not gentle with it. I've found through experience, that I never put my knives in a dishwasher.....I rinse and dry them immediately. This is a very nice knife. For a serrated one, I purchased the Chef Ming set, but on home shopping. If Amazon has them, it a really nice set.

Q: Is there is cover for it??

Only the paper/cardboard cover comes with it. Here on Amazon, you can purchase a Mundial Knife Protector, 8 1/2 x 2", Item # KP-3 , for around $3. It fits mine perfectly. I bought this knife in 2015, only use it for sushi/sashimi, and it has not needed sharpening yet, and I am very picky about my knives being sharp. The non-stick coating works very well with sticky rice, although I wet the knife with water before slicing thru the rolls.
