My daughter loves this and even my 8 year old step daughter sneaks on for a bounce around the house.Extremely durable and sturdy! Not a single issue yet and I bought this 6+ months ago!!

If it is a small 5 year old. We bought it for a toddler

Yes, there is a pin you can pull out. It was also smaller than expected, so it should not be difficult.

Q: Is this cute toy bpa free?

Not sure the chemical make-up of the rubber substance.
