overall the worst drum i usedtake a look at good snares like pearls, ludwig, tamas, mapex, etc. all these drums have a hard wood that is good for resonating and good snare response. this drum has absolutely nothing, the bearing edge is all messed up, the wood is soft that the response is low quality, the snare wires is messed up, even the drum key is messed upthis drum has a horrible throw off and when you order it the throw off needs replacing and so does the snare wires, this drum is faced for BEGINNERS and what to expect for beginners if they have no knowledge on how to change snare wires, as a beginner it took me a long while to figure out how to tune and replace the snare wires, ALSO, to you fellow beginner drummers who have a budget in their mind, trust me this drum is not user-friendlynow close your eyes, think of a toy drum, now add the necessary hardware, this is EXACTLY what it is.mike music seems like a good brand for other instruments but not drums. i feel like these companies are sharing drum designs and every snare drum on amazon looks the same.box comes with:snare drum with strap attachment attached for yousnare drum strapdrum keybadly pitched sticksand a BAD smell, as well as regret once you buy this snare
