It is as listed
It went right on to old mount. Has some built in weight so I hope that means a bit of quality.

Very nice light at a great price
I had a Bayco florescent retracting utility light that stopped working and I was not sure if it was the bulb or the light. The bulb is a 7" two prong and I could only find it on line at about $10. I really liked it but it was a little too short to get to the rear of my cars when mounted on the ceiling at the center of my garage so I decided to purchase the SL-851 which is 50'. I used a florescent screw in bulb instead of an incandescent bulb which gets the metal around the light very hot. The florescent bulb is much brighter at much less wattage. I do wish they would have added a socket on the handle of the light so it could be used as an extension cord as well but the price was so good as opposed to the others that made the decision for me. I only have one negative and that may be due to the heavier florescent bulb. The light doesn't fully retract. It is not really an issue as I just hang it up on the cord that plugs into my ceiling socket. I highly recommend this light.

Meh
There are better products out there that are cheaper. Thought it had an outlet on the handle really loses some functionality without that.

Excellent Replacement
I replaced an older one that was only a 20' cord. The 30' cord allows me coverage in my attic I didn’t have before.

Shop Light
Product is good. Has high quality. I liked the 50 ft. cord compared to its rivals. Price is high. I guess I'm old school or maybe just 'old'. I can remember buying these by the dozens to outfit shops. They were in the low $30 range. This unit seems to be quality. Of course, that will be determined by how long it lasts. I should review it again in 10 years. Many of the ones I purchased for 30 something dollars are still working in shops from 30 years ago. That's about $1 per year and they are still functioning. Can this unit match that? Unknown.

A nice light
It is a great retractable light, I think it is a bit expensive but I looked around for a while and this is as cheap as they come for decent quality. I like the led ones but am not willing to pay that high of a price and the reviews seem like they aren't bright enough. I caution you this thing will get very hot! I would say use a florescent bulb except if you break it while working you are dealing with mercury... so I would stick with a hot light:)

Let there be light
This does not have an outlet with the light. That would make it more useful. Otherwise, it works perfectly.

Great product
The only thing is the plug is short. It should be apx 5/6feet long. Not 2 feet. I had to make up a 3’ extension cord to make it work.

Weak ratchet
The ratchet part that stops the recoil of the cord does not hold
