I changed my car remote battery with this, unfortunately after one month I had low remote battery warning showing again.

The battery comes as it is described. I receive the one with 4 years expiration year which is great. I tested with multimeter and it is in great condition too.

I have just installed it in my car’ remote key, and to my surprise it didn’t even last for 2 months !!

I I had known that that will use a big box for a tiny battery I would not have bought it. I don’t want to contribute to that waste of paper

I ordered a 5-pack of Toshiba CR1616 batteries claiming 'Toshiba brand, Japanese quality and performance', and a '10 year shelf life' from MYBATTERYSUPPLIER via Amazon. In the product description, the photo of the blister pack says 'Japanese Energy' at the very top and '0% Mercury'. The photos of the batteries did not have the country of origin imprinted on the batteries, which should have been my first clue that something wasn't right.The batteries I received had 'Made in China' stamped on the batteries. The blister pack did not have 'Japanese Energy' or '0% Mercury' printed. It did at least have a Japanese address for Toshiba, but it failed to state the country of origin, as required. So what I got were knock-off batteries in packaging made to look very similar to Toshiba's. And to make it worse, my batteries that were supposed to have a 10 year shelf life had a 'use by' date of 2024. So I got both OLD and COUNTERFEIT batteries. I tried to contact MYBATTEERYSUPPLIER twice using Amazon's 'Seller Messaging Assistant' and never got a response. And yes I did see his legal disclaimer about suppliers changing the country of origin. While I might be otherwise inclined to accept that explanation, the product description and photos were definitely geared to setting the product apart from the many other CR1616 battery offering with the use of the word 'Japanese'. The long shelf life was one of the major deciding factors for my buying decision, as I do not have to change this particular battery often and I didn't want batteries that would be expired when the time came. If they had substituted with another brand made in the US or Japan that also guaranteed a 10 year self life, I would have found that to be a perfectly acceptable 'equivalent'. (The blister pack also failed to put the 10 year shelf life claim on the pack.) Another reason I bought these was the company's high Amazon rating.Sorry for the long rant about an inexpensive purchase. I just hate it when a company cheats its customers. But it's OK, I'm sending them back to him.
