Mediocre
It's a giant bag, but I'm using around a table spoons worth of leaves per ten ounce cup to get full flavor. It lacks complexity, but it's enjoyable. The only notable thing is the very sweet aftertaste. I wouldn't necessarily pick this over a generic bag of restaurant quality oolong tea.

This is probably my twentieth purchase of ooling. My fave!
I brew this per cup with a nylon teaball so I can put it in the microwave. Have never had any problems; I've used this for kombucha, iced tea and my morning hot tea for years.

A mainstay accompaniment to meals; great for digestion
Great whole leaf loose tea and organic to boot! A brew that is great for digestion or with a meal. Having ordered loose leaf teas in one pound sacks from Davidson's here on Amazon for a number of years, I have always been satisfied. I second the comments other reviewers have made: you do not want to overbrew this tea, or any oolong or green teas for that matter. I use full tablespoon of this oolong tea in a teapot filled with hot (but not boiling) water, brewing for no more than three minutes.

great oolong
I thought this was a great oolong, for a great price.I bought it to replace a teavana phoenix mountain dang chang oolang. It tasted pretty much exactly like that oolong. So if that's the quality you're looking for, but don't want to pay three times as much, you'll be very happy with this.If you're going to drink oolong you should definitely do repeated steepings. Make sure you don't over steep, either! Apparently a proper method of doing this is steeping fresh oolong for about one minute before decanting it to a serving kettle. Then when that is done you do it again with the same leaves but steep for a bit longer, and so on. The tea mellows out but a lot of different flavor comes out with the following steepings. Also the following ones are pretty much caffeine free. This tea gets very bitter if you let it steep to a very dark color. Avoid that!

Pretty Good, especially on second and third brews.
I was apprehensive about getting this tea, based on some of the reviews which said it seemed without taste. I made the tea in a metal tea ball and an automatic hot water pitcher, and I found the taste quite good, as long as I didn't over cook it. In fact, I can confirm one reviewer's observation that when you brew the same leaves a second time, the taste is even better. Yes, and even for a third time. I suspect there is a lot ov variation in results depending on your brewing technique. It's not "perfect" Oolong, but it's pretty good.

Oolong - sorry but this is not the real deal
I ordered the Oolnong tea. In my opinion this is not really Oolong quality tea. It doesn't look or taste anything like real Oolong tea.In my opinion Oolong tea has a medium brown color and comes in leaves that are rolled to small balls. It has a toasty smell. Once brewed it has a dark brown color and very distinctive taste that I can not describe but only Oolong has it. Oolong tea is semi-fermented.This tea does not have any of these properties. It looks like regular black tea. It tastes like a light black tea. Not a very good one but not a bad one either. I can drink it but it's not really great.
