This is my SECOND pair! Why would I be so foolish to carry my first pair wrapped around my neck in a Wind Storm? Who knows. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these earbuds! QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY! Sounds FANTASTIC and they seem to be OVERBUILT for this price point. I like the fact that the buds are metal. They seem to be indestructible. Just remember that they conform to the ambient temperature. Our old house stayed in the 50-60 degree range and when you first put them in your ear you might be surprised at how COLD they feel. Might be the same for HOT weather, don't know. Northern Michigan never sees a lot of super hot temperatures. I LOVE the sound quality for ALL genres...talk, music, video streaming, etc. They truly PERFORM above their PRICEPOINT! The cord is thick and extremely FLEXIBLE. It practically unwinds itself given a slight flick of the wrist! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend, a neighbor, a stranger or an alien! Well worth it. I've already bought them TWICE...I will continue to BUY at the need arises!

The pair that I received worked exceptionally well. they have a nice audio quality . Not overdoing the highs or lows this meant that music was clear and neither the base, middle or treble was overpowering.However there is no audio coming out of the right earphone. This means that it gets a little uncomfortable using them with just the one ear. will be attempting to get a refund or replacement. depending on how that goes i will update the rating!

I bought this earphone for my mother in law who needed it for podcasts on her smartphone. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much, just good enough audio to hear her podcast. But I was surprised at the great audio quality.The packaging is typical for any other earphones. Inside the box you’ll get the earphones, extra ear tips, and carrying pouch. For the price, I wasn’t expecting a carrying pouch, so that’s a big plus. For $10 earphones, the build quality is premium. I have put this side by side with my $100 earphones, and it’s hard to tell the price difference. I tested this on different genres of music, and I was surprised how excellent the sound quality is. The highs, mids, and lows are well balanced for all around music listening. If there is one thing, at high volumes, the high frequencies are a bit muddy. But you shouldn’t listen at high volume music anyways as it is dangerous for your ear. At 85% or lower volume, sound quality is excellent. The mic is just ok, the other party can hear me nice and clear without a problem, it’s not studio quality, but it’s ok.Overall, this earphones surprised me. I wasn’t expecting a great sound for the price. Even a true audiophile will have a hard time guessing the price. Highly recommended.

They lost a star on the volume control not because it doesn't work, but because of the placement on the cord -- it's still not an optimal location. My Coby 91s had the optimal location for in-line volume control. It fell down near your chest, so it was always easy to grab and manipulate. This one is higher up on the right-side cord, which anytime the in-line controls are placed on the right or left cord, it places it too high up near your head and makes for an awkward place to try and reach for it. Other than that, I was pleasantly surprised that the in-line volume control itself has really good functionality. It changed the sound up and down as it should on my Android phone. It also paused songs and even allowed me to skip to the next song. All of this functionality actually makes it a better in-line volume control than the one on my Coby 91s, although, I really prefer the wheel style my 91s had to the button style this one has.The main reason I had to bring down the main rating by one star is sadly, due to a compatibility issue. When I connect these earbuds to my ProBook laptop and try to listen to Youtube videos, the in-line volume control stops working properly, and, while I can hear the sound, it comes out muted, and by that I mean softer than it should. Oddly enough, when I push and hold any of the buttons on the in-line volume controller, the sound picks up volume and almost sounds normal, but clearly, I shouldn't have to hold down a button FOREVER just for the sound to come out closer to normal.This makes me very sad because the sound was great when attached to my Android phone, and it might have the best bass of any earbuds I've ever owned, but the fact that it doesn't work correctly when attached to my laptop is a MAJOR let down.I can see myself using these earbuds as my primaries with my phone, but that fact that I cannot switch them between my phone and laptop means I cannot give them a five-star rating. Honestly, I will likely search for a workaround for my laptop online, but as it stands, I have to give them a 4/5.
