Really useful for someone following this diet.
A family member had to suddenly follow the FODMAP diet before some treatment. The info from the hospital was limited so this book was a lifesaver! Meant that the change in diet wasn't too dramatic and we had some idea of what sort of foods we could eat. The recipes were good for such a restricted food selection and meant he didn't go insane for the 2 months he was doing FODMAP!

Only US measurements
Again created in USA and so it only has US measurements like cups and sticks of butter. In Europe this does not exist en so I have to check the internet to convert to grams. Because THERE IS NO CUPS/GRAMS CONVERT PAGE IN THE BOOK! I was surprised about that. In times Like these, you should at least expect that.Overal good book with information about what is Low Fodmap. It seems that cream, whipped cream and butter does no harm to lactose intolerant people, but I can certainly not eat that with this intolerance. The book has a lot of recipes, though not all recipes contain pictures. It’s overal good for it’s reduced price. It also has meat and fish recipes inside , breakfast options and salads.

Not new condition of the book while paid full price!
I have ordered a new book and, upon arrival, I saw that the book had worn out edges and a spot from a removed sticker on a front page. Not what I paid for!In terms of the content, the recipes seem fine. However, there is no consistency between Fodmap ingredients' list, aka the ones whuch should be avoided, and the very same ingredients used in the actual recipe 10 pages later.

Life is tastier and belly is happier with this book!
LOVE this book! Was searching for low fodmap recipes and this book is awesome! Was a bit nervous because it had only one review, so I looked the author up, liked what I found, and took a risk. So glad I did.I've tried the muesli (which soothed my belly, was easy to prep, and easy to grab on my way out the door in the portioned containers I used!) and the caper, cheese and polenta muffins (soooo tasty and I don't even like capers usually! Savory and cheesy and relatively easy to make! *photo from the book included*) so far, and have the Vietnamese-style veggie noodle bowl and peanut butter brownies next up on my to do list. There's about 15 pages of info at the beginning about the diet, including a list of what to avoid and what to limit, then so many pages of awesome recipes! Can't wait to try them all!
