Well-designed, excellent results
Man, this thing makes yard work a lot easier! I ordered the Trimmer Plus GC720 Garden Cultivator Attachment from Amazon based on its good reviews and reasonable price. I’d seen similar items at the big box stores for much more. I am using this as an attachment to my Greenworks 40V String Trimmer (which I have also reviewed).I was just a bit skeptical that this would actually work well with the Greenworks as I just wasn’t sure it would be powerful enough to propel the cultivator. Well, it is amazingly powerful enough, so don’t worry if you have a similar situation. Just be sure your drive shaft connector is the square type. The Trimmer Plus is actually quite heavy in a very good way. It is well-designed and manufactured and promises to provide years of dependable service based on my perception of its heftiness. It is also quite a bit larger in width and depth than I had imagined - nothing wimpy about it. Of course its weight is a plus because you want it heavy enough to dig deep into the ground and stay there and do its job, not just scratch the surface. In my hard clay yard, I am able to dig with ease and with the addition of compost and other soil conditioners I am able to build wonderful beds for flowers and vegetables in very short order. Previously, I would do this with shovel and wheelbarrow, making suitable planting beds one laboriously wheelbarrow-full at a time. Now, everything gets thrown onto the ground and cultivated properly in a fraction of the time with much less effort and far greater results.I’m very happy with this product and I highly recommend it for its design, ease of use, and compatibility with so many existing gas and electric powered products. And if you’ve been using a shovel and wheelbarrow you will most definitely appreciate how quickly and completely the Trimmer Plus does the job.

Surprisingly strong!
We rented a big rototiller for the day to break up soil for a garden, and bought this little unit for the regular cultivating work. Imagine my surprise that this accessory, when added to my gas-weedeater motor, can do a significant job on its own! I have since used it to till in soil amendments and it is heavy enough to dig into the dirt and not bounce around. The tiller head balances perfectly on the motor unit, and is manageable for one person to use. A great buy, and a great tool!

Good tiny tiller
The unit itself is made pretty well, but the weight and torque could cause premature wear on your string trimmer (in my optinion). Very handy unit, expecially in tight spaces like small flow beds. It's very heavy for a string trimmer, but light weight for a tiller...so be warned, eat your wheaties if you plan to work in hard packed or rocky soil. Unit does what it's supposed to, though. Much cheaper than buying a dedicated unit.

This attachment did an amazing job digging through the hard dirt
I bought this to till up a section of my backyard that was once a garden. The soil was a bit hard, and there were plenty of small to large size rocks in it. This attachment did an amazing job digging through the hard dirt, and the rocks and weeds did not seem to affect it much at all. I was concerned about the rocks breaking the guard based off of others posts/reviews, but the rocks didn't seem to do anything to the attachment at all. It just kept chugging along. I will say it was a bit heavy and needed a but of muscle to control it, but that was to be expected given the nature of the tool. I am not sure it will get a ton of use in my yard, but its great to know that when I need it, it will work very well.

Very sturdy and works well with Greenworks 40v system.
Works well with a 40v Greenworks trimmer. With reduction gears, it is effective and has a lot more power than expected. The unit is solidly built. The combination gets heavy especially pulling it back to make it dig-in deeply instead of letting it run along superficially. So it takes some muscle to maneuver, but still, I think tilling up 6"-8" of dirt is easier than using a shovel and it is definitely quicker. If you had uniform planting beds, running it along to till up weeds between rows would be easy.

Great tool for a small garden!
This tiller worked great for my small garden. Sure saved my back and made a three day choir into a two morning job. Beware however, this attachment puts a lot of strain on the engine! I have a 25cc straight shaft brush cutter to power it and it was getting very hot! Between the weight of the attachment and the brush cutter and the heat from the strain, 15 minutes of run time between taking a rest is about all we could take.

This works great in flower beds.
Works with my 40 volt Ryobi trimmer. It is perfect for flower beds. Wide enough to get the job done but narrow enough to work between plants and flowers. Used it to churn up the old dirt and blend in planting soil to improve the soil altogether. Great sturdy product at a fraction of the cost of others.

Cheap, not sturdy enough to even till lawn grass
I should have been more skeptical that a decent tiller attachment could be $90. I have a pretty heavy duty Troy built weedwhacker engine , not just some cheap weed whacker. Even with my nice Troy built, this tiller attachment struggled, power was low, lots of vibration and tiller blades turn too slow. I had a light duty job planned, just wanted to till up some of my grass lawn and plant some flowers, and this weak tiller attachment couldn’t even till up some lawn grass, struggled and now I’m worried I damaged my nice Troy built engine trying to get more power to this cheap attachment. I could literally do a much better job tilling ground with a hoe than this attachment. Buyer beware. I’m not sure what the intended purpose of this attachment is, but it’s too delicate to actually do any tilling. I guess it might be useful for lifholy mixing in some compost with already well tilled ground, but I can’t help thinking there is no real use and I just got scammed. Amazon should probably pull this item. No wonder it isn’t affiliated with any actual legit weed whacker company. I sure hope I didn’t damage my nice Troy built trying to use this attachment, it started to struggle and smell like burning plastic and now I’m worried. Def don’t recommend this cheap product
