Also, compared to the Nanuk cases, the foam included doesn't smell as much and has no sticky residue. I'll stay with Pelican if I ever need another case in the future.

I bought one of these to carry and protect a ham radio (Elecraft KX2). If you are looking for a case for the KX2, this one is absolutely perfect in size. There is not much room for anything else in there, but the KX2 is a great fit an well protected.I dont think I can come up with paragraphs and paragraphs on this. It is an awesome, tough box as you would expect from Pelican. I have knocked it around plenty and the radio inside has been completely safe and dry. What more can you ask for?I bought this case with my own hard-earned money at full price. I did not receive any compensation or even encouragement to leave a review.

It does come with foam always seems like I choose one size too small.... Stuff fits but crowded. My fault not the product :). Keep in mind you want to add 1 inch between case and object or object to object. At LEAST an inch.It's pretty tough, it's what you think it is a little Pelican box. You can lock it. Yes give me a hammer and screw driver I could be inside in 2 minutes. That's not what this is about. Just a good little hard box with nice foam to keep delicate stuff safe.It's grey/silver ( more grey) I could see where if you accidentally reefed on the lid backwards you could break it . Not likely to happen in normal use. I gave it 5 stars cause it's exactly what it claims to be.
