Adore 16" Shelly The Red Eared Slider Turtle Plush Stuffed Animal Toy

Absolutely love this turtle plush. It is large, super soft and most importantly it has all the details to look exactly like a red eared slider turtle. My sister has her turtle of 38 years recently died of oldness. No one believes our adorable turtle can live at this age. My sister and brother-in-law are very sad so I wanted to gift them something cute in remembrance of this turtle. I was amazed to find this cute guy when most of the red eared turtles are either plastic decoration or other plush toys are about sea turtles. It's a little expensive for $24.99+ but it's totally worth it for the quality and details you get. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

So I bought this as a present for my boyfriend, who owns two red eared slider turtles. However, since they aren't with him, I thought it would be nice for him to have a sweet reminder of them. At first, he thought it was a little creepy because the turtle has this smirk, but eventually Shelly the turtle grew on him and then me. It's funny how a plush can bring you comfort when you're lounging alone at home--it's a great gift for anyone who loves stuffed plushies or needs some company. The plush is soft and firm, and it has thin "claws" made from a slightly flexible and durable material. Nothing to worry about in terms of scratching. Overall, a unique gift.

My niece's turtle passed away on Monday and her little 5 year old heart was shattered. I was so happy that I was able to find a red ear slider shuffle for her. It is bigger than I expected but she loves it and named it Tank after her turtle.Excellent craftsmanship, bright colors, and super soft. All around perfect.

We lost our red-earred slider, Sammy, a few months ago and my foster child bought these for my son and I to remember Sammy by. Her heart was definitely in the right place with this sweet gift. A little too expensive...seems more like a $15 value as opposed to $25, but still a beautiful gift.
