HDD failed after just a month.
I used this HDD for about a month, in stable conditions (cool, ventilated room), and the HDD just stopped working a month later. No amount of re-formatting has fixed the issue, leading me to believe it's a hardware issue. This could be a one-off case, since HDDs do have a chance of failing, but mine did so take that how you will.

BOUGHT IT LAST DECEMBER AND I DID MY BACKUP IN THIS DRIVE! GUESS WHAT? NOW THAT I NEED MY FILES IT IS CORRUPTED! THIS IS ONLY THE 3RD TIME THAT I USED THIS DEVICE!

Nur als Backup-Festplatte benutzt, selten (vielleicht 10x) angeschlossen gehabt. Jetzt defekt. Wird erkannt, aber direkt 100% Auslastung. Schade, werde mich nach einem anderen Hersteller umschauen müssen.
