Like millions of others around the world I follow a modified Paleo lifestyle. As part of that regimen I include nuts in my daily food intake. A variety of nuts help your Omega-6/Omega-3 balance, if you stay away from the choices on offer from "Big Nuts". Their nuts are roasted using seed-oil and crappy salt. I roast mine using coconut oil and Himalayan pink salt giving them extra goodness. I have tried nuts from many vendors but have settled on Food To Live nuts. They are always fresh, high quality and just plain yummy. I buy lots of nuts and give them to my friends and co-workers and they all tell me I have the best nuts and that the only problem they have with them is they can't stop eating them. Yay for my nuts. Yay for Food To Live.

I buy a big bag to make it more of a value. A couple between meals or as a desert and I'm all set with my favorable fat. Delicious.

Edited:Now that I buy the large packages, I buy those macadamia nuts here. They are NEVER moldy, unlike so many other nuts you can purchase. The taste is absolutely excellent. If you want a good price per pound, buy the big bag. I insert a napkin in that bag to absorb the moisture from the air/ skin from daily opening the bag. You could also divide the bag into small packages of course.Original review:Those are great but really expensive. I started buying the ones by “daily nuts and fruits” that are packed in small packages and less pricey.(Yes, I’m uncomfortable with the environmental impact of those little packages, but I’m afraid I can’t afford these here on a daily basis.)

Absolutely disgusting!!!! Not fit for human consumption. I ordered these nuts with high expectations but it was too good to be true. It seems I got what I paid for. Pig food. Literally, pig slop. I ordered four pounds and it worked out at about $10.00 per pound. I thought what a deal because macadamias are pricey. As it turned out the nuts had the same texture a bag of stale potato chips; a bag which has been left open under the counter and forgotten about, and once you taste one of the chips you immediately throw it in the trash because it is disgusting.I am afraid to eat them as I wonder where they might have been stored before they were shipped. They are moisture laden and I am concerned that they could be inhabited with microbes or mildew of some kind. NOT GOOD!!! I have only found one in twenty of somewhat crisp nuts, yes, one in twenty. I thought of using it in my vita mix in my smoothies as the texture is disgusting to eat. But I do not trust that they may be fit enough to eat. So, I will be throwing them out. I have not thrown them out yet in the event that I need them as evidence. I am thoroughly disappointed. I will continue to by the raw macadamias at Whole Foods at $19.99 per pound. It is worth it at that price as I get what I expect; fresh and crisp.

I have purchased this 2lb bag of macadamia nuts 3 times in the last 3 months, they are absolutely amazing. I have to say though, my husband and I have agreed, this last bag we received are without question the BEST macadamia nuts we have both ever had.I used to purchase a lot from nuts.com and became increasingly disappointed with the quality of the nuts I received. Some were rancid, some were just off and others just lacking in flavor. I started buying here on Amazon since I shop here so frequently and man am I glad I tried these food to live nuts. I've also purchased the pistachios & brazil nuts, they're amazing as well.

I love Macadamia Nuts, and have for a very long time. They are quite expensive, and the quality can vary in the extreme. However, I have had very good experiences with this brand "Food to Live", and decided to order the 2# size of Nuts. These are not organic, and are not non-GMO, which is a disappointment.However, the taste is superb - rich, creamy, and full of that particular luscious flavor that only a Macadamia nut can provide. I used thes, along with a Macadamia Nut drink, Pistachios, Gala Apples. Coconut, and vanilla and real coconut extract to produce a very superior Smoothie. I also ground one third of a vanilla bean into the mixture, which served to accentuate the already fine Macadamia nut flavor.Aside from the lack of these Nuts being Organice, and non-GMO, I would highly recommend the use of these Macadamia Nut. As it stands now, I will finish these, and continue my search for organic, and a non-GMO version.Unfortunately, I can not wholeheartedly recommend these non-organice Nuts. But I will keep my eye upon this brand, in the hopes that they will produce an organice, and non-GMO version

These are without a doubt some of the freshest macadamia nuts I have ever eaten. I am nearing the end of the bag and wanted to wait to review until most of the bag had been consumed in case there were any unpleasant surprises near the bottom. I am happy to report that out of the 3.5 pounds that we've consumed so far, there has only been one ever so slightly untasty nut. One. That's all. That's amazing. And 99% of the nuts were whole unbroken beautiful little balls of macadamianess rather than a lot of halves and pieces. I'm a big consumer of nuts and know how tricky it can be to find fresh packages especially sight unseen from an online source. These were priced very reasonably when I purchased them, they're fresh, they're whole and I couldn't be happierBOTTOM LINE: incredibly fresh macadamias through and through and also a great value

I have eaten Macadamia nuts before but when I tasted these, they were heavenly. I never knew nuts could taste so good with no additives (ie. salt or oils). It is definitely value for money, the pack is resealable with a zipper and a small amount is enough for one serving. Delicious. Don't just take my word for it, go ahead and try it yourself.

I tried another brand of macadamia nuts that were a little cheaper on Amazon, big mistake, you get what you pay for, they were rancid and no refund available, unbelievable what I paid for a bag full of product that was a food safety hazard with no refund possible, shame on you Amazon. This bag of, food to live macadamia nuts was delicious, fresh, not one hint of rancidity, I fell in love and bought the other brand based on price, big mistake, buy this one.

This product is the best Macadamia nuts that I have tried. It is the perfect blend of crispness and delicious taste.The packaging ensures that the nuts remain fresh for many weeks. The only downside is the high price, but forthe quantity of quality nuts, it is worth it if you can afford the luxury.

These were very tasty and they are incredibly good for you BUT...Welcome to Canada as in being sooooo expensive. The issue is this...Costco has a 2LB bag of these for $48 and as far as the "brand"....well it's the kirkland brand so is it very different?
