Solid and very easy to use
These timers are about as straightforward to use as they could possibly be.The timer can be set to go on and off ten times in a one week period. It doesn't know the actual date but you tell it what day of the week it is so you can have a timer come on at say 2300 on Monday and off at 0100 on Tuesday - pay attention to this when setting it up...You can cycle through permanently on, permanently off and timer mode by pressing one button. I'm using mine for christmas lights so no need for ten timers, or the random mode that's also included.Instead of a coin cell, they have a rechargeable backup battery that stories the settings while the timer is plugged out. There's no backlight on the (very readable) LCD display but there is a bright blue LED that comes on when power is on. There is an audible relay click when switching on and off. Timekeeping accuracy claimed is one minute per month maximum drift, which is the only aspect I'm not convinced by. One of mine has drifted a couple of minutes in a week so keep an eye on that if it matters to you.

very nice product
I was thinking from a long time and have read some stories that mobile phones left on charge all night could lead to an incident, keeping this thought in mind I have bought this item.how I use is that It is plugged with a function for all week to switch on for 2 hrs at night so now my phone is charged in the morning with no worries that it stays pluged in all night. There are safety features in the cell phone but just a caution.I think it can be used with a bulb, water dispenser, boiler etc to run on a schedule. Well thought item and I only needed one but the more the better and this is a twin pack and price is also not bad... Cheers

No problem, works perfectly.
I bought these to switch the lights on and off on my gecko vivarium. It's important that they have 12 hours light and 12 hours darkness. I would forget to stick to the exact times if it wasn't for this timer. But now they turn on and off without any worry. The instructions are easy to follow and set up and the LED display is very clear to see.I will definitely be buying more as they are great value and I would highly recommend.

Best light timer I have ever had.
Best light timer I have ever had. It is silent (many of the dial timers have a loud click), easy to program and leaves room in my outlet to plug in something else. I found the directions to be very easy to follow. You can opt for a random mode which will randomly turn the lights on or off within a half hour of the time indicated. And the manual that comes with the timer is VERY good, convenient for you to read.

Not as image describes.
The product works fine but needed to buy an extra adapter to fit in uae specified sockets. The photo of the item depicts the correct pins where the actual product sent didn’t.I would ask for the seller to use the correct images not to mislead buyers.

Great Programmable Timer
I purchased these for my young children, as we connect them to nightlights in order to show them when its okay to get up, since they can't read a clock yet. (The nightlights stay on all night and then turn off when it's time to get up -- a very cheap and effective alternative to ""toddler clocks,"" which have not proven reliable for us). These are the BEST timers I've ever gotten for this purpose. Just set them and go.How to use this:The theory of using this is pretty simple. To have it always on, press the button that says ""ON/AUTO/OFF"" until the screen displays ""ON"" at the bottom. AUTO will use the timers and OFF is just that, but not sure when you will need this option. To set up timers:Press PROG. When you press it, the first screen will be program 1 (total of 8) - ON option is first: set the time you want it to turn on by pressing HOUR to set the hour and MIN for minutes. Press WEEK to set specific days (defaults to every day at first). Once you set when it turns on, press PROG again to now set when to turn off. Press PROG auto continue through the rest of the 8 total programs in the same fashion if you wish. Or press CLOCK to go back to the screen that displays the clock. To activate timers, make sure it is on AUTO (as described above). This is where I had issues... If the timers do not work, reset and try again. I've had to do this a few times on both units so it was not very funUpdate: Yup! I liked this timer so much, I bought a second one. I think if it was a 'easy to use' timer, it wouldn't be quite as versatile as this timer is. You can set quite the varied schedule with this thing. It works great for my aquarium light and for my heater at work.It does work really well and reliably. I've never had any issues. I love that it still remembers the time when the power goes out. And that on certain days of the week you can schedule it differently. I would certainly recommend this programmable timer....
