Twistix Dental Chews For Pets With Vanilla/Mint Flavor, Small

First off, let me just say we spoil our dog. I'm sure most people do. For our little Maltese, we've tried a variety of dental chews. His favorite treats are Greenies.After one visit to the vet, we were told that Greenies are made predominantly of wheat and that could lead to problems in the later years. We were giving him at least two a day. She recommended giving him one maybe every other day or on special occasions. So the hunt began...We've tried all kinds. The  Zuke's Z-Ridge Mini - Fresh Breath Dental Chew Bones, 15 Count Pouch , the  Get Naked Low Calorie Dental Chew Sticks for Dogs, Small/6.2-Ounce, 18 sticks/Pack , the  N - Bone Oral Hygine Twistix Twested Stick Dog Treats Small 5.5 oz  and the  Blue Buffalo Mini Blue Bones Natural Dog Dental Chews . Of all of them, Greenies are his favorites. They're also the cheapest.The size of these are a little larger than the Greenies. They're also pretty cheap on Amazon compared to a local pet store. They do seem a little tougher than the other dental chews. All of the other ones seem a bit softer, but these are a bit rough and harder. One thing that we liked about them is that they are wheat free and gluten free. Our dog seems to like them.We try to mix it up and give him different treats throughout the week. These are a good treat to throw in the mix if you'd like to do that. They're no Greenies, but if it will keep our little guy healthier a little longer, then we'll continue to give him these and spoil him at the same time.

The "boyz" love these, will scarf them up very quickly when given to them.

This is the second product that I have gotten for my dogs for their tartar issues and I am extremely pleased. These are high quality bones that freshen their breath and provide at least a few minutes of their time to really chew up. I have a husky and a mini shnauzer and they both loved these bones. They know that I have them and they beg for them! I think the size is good too for my dogs although I did try to break them and I was unable to do it. They are tough bones. I will buy again! Oh, and I see that the product is working! My dogs teeth look much better!

My dog loves these! I know they are intended to help clean the mouth, which is great, but my dog gets them after her weekly bath as her "special treat" for being so good. She loves them so much that she takes one and runs all around the house with it proudly sticking out of her mouth until she ultimately finds a good enough hiding spot for it. And if she sees me watching her hide it, she moves it... even though she really only has 3 hiding spots in the whole house. :)Anyway, it helps with keeping her teeth clean and she thinks they are just the best thing ever!

However, my dog also licks his butt. After he takes a poop. He literally wipes his butt with his tongue.There are no flare-ups where his allergies are concerned. One reason for the missing stars is the smell of the dental chews. Maybe I was delusional thinking that the chew would smell of mint and make my dog's breath smell fresh. I cannot describe in writing how the chews smell, but I can tell you it made me nauseous when I opened the bag. So, instead of my dog's breath smelling like poo, it smells sickening. As for his dental hygiene, I have no proof of improvement or otherwise, because I now keep my face away from his face.

these are a good but different twist on dental chews for dogs. the cost is fairly reasonable compared to the amount of chews in each bag. that's important to me having more than one dog. they also keep the dog busy for a few moments I liked that they put mint into the sticks. worth the money to me.

My dog had terrible breath, but she loves these as treats, and they clean her breath quite effectively! She is a 9 pound shih tzu/poodle mix, and they are the perfect size for her small mouth. The only problem is if you give her too many (read: upwards of six per day), the dye turns her stool an interesting shade of green! But that is a very minor issue, more something to be aware of so you don't think your dog is sick.

My dog loves this, and it does help his breath a little bit. (It works better on his breath than Greenies. Greenies give him gas, and this doesn't!) I bought this package for him twice already, and he loves it. It arrives fast, good packaging, and good quality product. Although, I am not sure if this is any cheaper than buying at a regular store. I wish it was a little cheaper. I will buy the bigger container now, since my dog loves this stuff. :)

My pet likes it but the quantity of the pack for the price is just a little too much. Also the fact it is "Made in China" is making me question whether its quality is upto the mark. So far its okay👍

It smells very good. Initially my dog was very hesitant coz the stick was very hard for her to bite so she ignored. Then later she tried her hard to bite it and later she liked it. Took her 5mins to complete it. Small in size than expected.

The dental chews were exactly as advertised and my pet just loves them. I give him half a stick in the morning and evening. This makes his breath minty and also keeps him happy overall

i have shih tzu, 5 months old. he loves it. he licks and eats it. sufficient to give twice a week. it takes 20 mins to finish it.
