My Samsung washer was having trouble in the spin cycle maintaining balance. After some searching narrowed the problem down to the shocks. Read a bunch of reviews, some not so favorable, but decided to give these a try. Some of the most common review complaints were around the resistance on these compared to those being replaced. I found this also to be the case, however once installed my balance issue was resolved. These are replaced by removing the front panel and a small panel on the back (there are a couple YouTube videos to watch). Word of CAUTION, wear gloves and long sleeves, the washer panels and other parts are SHARP. The rear upper mounts were a bugger to remove, the rest came off fairly easily.

Much stronger than old worn ones. Unfortunately this was not what was wrong with my machine. One of the three arms on my shaft assembly was broken causing the explosive shaking. Additionally the metal drum cracked the front plastic tub. I have ordered all the required parts to finish my repair!! I will not be beat by this washer!!!! Learn from my mistake and take the whole thing apart before you start doing “shotgun” maintenance!! Machine definitely need to come apart for a good cleaning anyways! Good luck.

The product appeared new however did not come in any plastic and looked somewhat used. After install it did not solve the issue my washer was having due to the shocks not having enough resistance. Will return and hopefully the other I order would be a new product.

I was having a banging (WAY out-of-orbit housing movement during low speed spin), and loud tapping (during high speed spin). Ultimately the cause of the tapping was a broken plastic cable bracket on the back of the washer drum housing. (You have to turn the washer around and remove the access panel to get to it.) I didn't order a new bracket, instead I drilled a couple holes and used a few cable ties to secure everything to the housing. That stopped the tapping. I'm happy with that repair.Hoping to reduce the banging, I still planned to use the new shocks. I compared the existing shocks (about 3 years old) to these new ones. The resistance to movement was quite similar, so I'm not sure I gained much, but since the washer was already apart, I installed the new shocks. The old ones were looking a bit worn, and the metal parts were rusting (it's Hawaii).Ultimately I can say that these shocks fit properly, and seemed decently well made. The resistance was only slightly better than my 3 year old shocks, so hoping the swap bought me some time. I was still getting some banging for highly off-center loads, but ultimately the washer is resolving it and is able to spin everything fine.

Not worth the money

Perfect replacement for the worn out "shocks" in my washer. Spins out without the washer trying to walk all over the floor now. Because the washer is more stable, my clothes also seem to spin out drier so they take less time in the dryer.

Really helped with my washer……smoothed it out and fixed the spin issue I was having. Not hard to replace if you place washer on it’s side
