Should gave added this to my previous drill press
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It's easy to attach and detach. The clamps will come in handy for drilling holes in metal which sometimes gets caught and spins. It greatly extends the 9" table to 2'. It does make it a little harder to adjust the table height, but it's worth it.

VERY GOOD REPLACEMENT TABLE
40 or so years ago, I made a table for my drill press. It lasted quite well but was on its last legs. I no longer have the desire to make things like this so I spent money. It was well spent. Good workmanship. Heavy duty. Has proven itself to be all I needed (it's almost as good as the one I made so long-ago). If I need another one in 40 years I will repeat this purchase.

A very good value, as are most Wen products
This is exactly as advertised; decent quality, installs easily on my Craftsman drill press. I like the larger platform on which to put my work, and the fence and stop-block are handy. Wen makes good-value products for the introductory (and perhaps intermediate) wood worker. At under $50, it makes a lot more sense than the very expensive magnet-based steel drill press fence at 4x the price. I'd purchase it again.

A great addition to my drill press!
For anyone serious about accuracy and repeatability in their drilling, a good drill press table is a must-have. I recently upgraded my setup with a small drill press table featuring a metered fence, and I'm genuinely impressed with the improvement it's made to my workflow. Let's face it, not everyone has a massive workshop. This table strikes a great balance, offering a decent work surface without overwhelming my small drill press. It's perfect for smaller projects and intricate drilling tasks where precision is paramount. The integrated metered fence is the star of the show. The incremental markings are clear and easy to read, allowing for accurate and repeatable positioning. No more guesswork or relying on a wonky T-square! This feature alone has saved me time and frustration, especially when drilling multiple holes at precise intervals.Setting up the table was a breeze. It typically attaches to the drill press table using a simple mounting brackets. The instructions were clear, and I had it installed and ready to use in minutes. This small drill press table with a metered fence has been a game-changer for my drilling accuracy and efficiency. It's a well-designed, well-built tool that has quickly become an indispensable part of my workshop. If you're looking to upgrade your drill press setup and prioritize precision, I highly recommend considering this type of table.

Extending the stock table support significantly
This is a nice product, extending the stock table support significantly, allowing for repeatable precision work. The bigest limitation will be in the MDF construction, this wont stand up to to much rough handling.

Very good addition as a larger table
I received this as a present along side the WEN 4214 12” drill press.I worked with this table and the drill press for a while before doing this review. The table is more then adequate in size for my use.I did assemble it backwards and didn’t realize until months later that the long flat edge should be in front (as depicted in the manual - that I missed). The clamps are a love-hate relationship since I have arthritis the small knobs really aren’t helpful when tightening. They are too small. They are also clumsy to use since the bolt is detached from the clamp housing and has to be held with the housing in order to tighten onto the table or work piece.Initially putting the table onto the metal drill press table and having it backwards, I was using the clamps on the exterior of the metal table after threading it through the table track. This secured the table but there was always some slop albeit slight. Now that I I had it backwards, I re-read the instructions to see how the clamps should be attached.According to the instructions, the bolt should be fed through the metal table through hole and the hex head fitted into the track. Right there this becomes too cumbersome. I had to re-read a couple of times to grasp this and found it to be too dramatic. After finally getting both sides in the back to accept the bolt and get the clamp housing on, which means you do the bolt first then the housing then the secure parts (again too clumsy), I tightened them and did find this to be a good snug fit. The front I just fed through the track and tightened it to the metal table. While this method is clumsy it did provide a better clamp down of the table to the metal drill press table. I was too tired after getting it attached to remove the clamps to see if it would be as secure just threading the bolts through and clamping to the underside without the bolt being fed through the metal table. It would be easier no doubt but for now it stays where it is. I’m told that if I am doing metal drilling work then I should just use the metal table that is part of the drill press. The fence and stop block aren’t unlike any other and there is a tape measure attached to the table. I’ve not had a use for the tape measure yet but have used the fence and stop block without issue.I’m sure as I use this there will be other discoveries.I am in the process of building dust collection based on someone else’s build of their WEN drill press.
