So your saying "a review of handsoap". Lava bar hand soap is one of the few products that still works as it did 50 years ago she I began using it. Lava original bar soap removes dirt, grease, and grime easily. Lava is not just for mechanics, but anyone who uses there hands and needs a soap that cleans at a low cost. I have also used on stained shirts and pants, but don't use on delicate or dress garments.Over many years of use, I have only met two people that have had a problem with skin irritation and that out of hundreds of people. Lava soap is still made with pumice which is the grit that boosts the cleaning. Being a bar type soap it is long lasting, and isn't waste full or as messy as liquid hand cleaners. It has a very slight scent, but nothing compared to other bar soaps I have used.

Lava will scrape you clean while foaming up thick, and moisturize? I need deep deep cleaning, this is the only soap I use. Rinses off easy, squeaky clean. I guess it moisturizes, maybe that is why I am not dry and brittle. I do steam rooms and saunas and Castor Oil packs and more, they said clean with baking soda, did not work for me, so Lava to the rescue. The bar lasts a long time, more than other ones. Some might find it too abrasive, I wish it were more abrasive.

Good price on good soap

This definitely gets the job done with scrubbing the heck out of your skin and I love it. Will buy again. It's a neutral smell so no need to concern of fragrances.

This soap is getting hard to find in stores. Even though Lava isn't what it used to be decades ago it's still the best for scrubbing filthy hands. I wish the abrasive was as aggressive as it used to be but I'm glad it's still available on Amazon.

I'm a classic car guy and use this in place of the auto store hand cleaner. It works great.
