This old product really works but is hard to locate.

Lava soap is the best at getting hard gunk off! Lather it to work on stove or oven too.

Product has become very expensive. This was the best value I've been able to find.

I've been using Lava soap for many years, keeping it at my kitchen sink. It's great at getting the gunk off my hands, no matter what I'm working on.

I love Lava soap. I have used this product for years. Started using this soap as a teenager when I got my first POS car that I had to work on constantly. Lava soap will help clean yourself up really great. Lava soap also has an extra benefit that is not advertised, but it works wonders on acne. That was the second use I discovered as a kid. Like most young ones becoming adults, we all know the horror of bad acne outbreaks. I started getting really bad acne and just on a whim started to use this a few times daily on my face scrubbing with the bar on my skin and never had another problem with acne. Later on in life, I had neighbors whos teenage son had SEVERE acne. So severe they bought into the product (I will not name on here) advertised on TV to stop acne with all theses free applicators and is CRAZY expensive. That was not helping this young man that had been using it for almost a year. I informed them about my experience with Lava soap as a teenage and within 2 weeks of simply washing his face 2-3 times a day with a bar of lava soap, his face was as clear as a flawless diamond. I also must add that I only purchased this on Amazon because I cannot find this soap in any store in my little town, so once again, why I turn to Amazon for my needs.

This product works fairly well but I was expecting it to be like the Lava I used 20 years ago. I don’t believe this new formula cuts grease as good as the old one. Still works for dirty garden hands, etc. The other thing I miss is the old formula had more pumice in it. It used to help keep your hands and feet feeling soft and helped smooth off the rough edges. The fresh clean scent used to last several hours after a shower. Now pretty much gone before you leave the bathroom.
