I bought this for a dice game I play with my granddaughter. I'm bedbound, and this is perfect for not having the dice scatter everywhere (and continue to roll down folds of blankets) as we play. It's quite sturdy, and the soft surface helps mute the noise of the dice while we're playing. I also purchased a dice cup from Amazon, which rounds out quieter play nicely! I'm very happy with this product!

The tray is ok. The box it comes in is a very flimsy gift box and then it was shipped in a plastic bag mailer without padding, so it was crushed in transit.

I would still recommend, but for the price it would be nice if it was more solid, can very easily become bent when stored however still the best one I've seen on amazon. Nice big size.
