It's beautiful with the koa laminate on the body
I got this guitar for my 16th birthday. It's beautiful with the koa laminate on the body. I'm 18 now and got a great deal on a taylor about 6 months ago. Thta seems to be an ultimatum for many people..martin or taylor. This guitar sound really, really good plugged in. It's a clean and warm and full sound that turns heads. Un-plugged it sounds good (nice bass) but isn't very loud. I think this is due to laminate instead of real wood on the body. So I prefer my Taylor when unplugged. For $450 for $500 this is good value in my opinion. The action was good upon arrival..smells good too.
