Possibly the most comprehensive book I have used on modern automotive technology. It covers almost everything, is well written and serves as a great text or reference book.

The book will help a new mechanic or a senior one understand the new technology . A clear view from the tear down of my engines of past and present . The electronics alone will be a valuable asset for new cars. A must have for a DIY , or a person in the trade.

I bought this book for my son who is doing a diploma course in Automobile Technology. The contents is written in simple and easy to understand language, and plenty of helpful pictures and illustrations. A must have reference book for all newbies!

I was very satisfied with the contents of this book. Even though it was required for my automotive class I would have bought this book even if I wasn't in school. It takes all the different sections in the automotive industry and breaks them down so they are easily understood. One of the better school text books around.
