Q: can i plug a power splitter to this connecting both my studio monitors and eliminating ground loop noises? or only 1 on each monitor?

As long as your two monitors combined load doesn't exceed 6 amps, you should be good. Hum x works for up to 6 volts.

Q: Description says do not use on power amps. Does this mean I shouldn't use it with my tube-type guitar amp? Pardon my ignorance.

I haven't used these on guitar amps but they work excellently on 100-watt powered speakers, digital sound board and wireless mic receivers. Our current building has really dirty power so the fact that they cleaned it up well is a good thing. Highly recommend.

Amps it's not good for, but projector should be fine.
